Hello and uwu! I've noticed in my time of playing royals that the forum events generally have one thing in common; in-game content. Whether it be a holiday card, a costume contest, or chair design, it all relates solely to the game. These events are always fun to participate in, and seeing the creativity from the community is great. But I've been thinking, what if we stray away from that, and try something new? Introducing, the Talent Show! Memories of your school days should now populate your mind, whether you yourself performed, or watched some kid just absolutely bungle it on stage (or you were the kid that bungled it on stage), most people know what a talent show is about! But what could we do to enter? All I know is mushroom game ;~; You could do anything, honestly! Whether you have real life talents, talents related to video games (even Royals!), or something that you would just wanna show off, I think it'd be cool to see a different side of the community members beyond their in-game characters! Below would be my proposed guidelines: Entries can be either group or solo. One entry per player, whether group or solo. Considering there's only two categories, a third category could be made for a random entrant to win something! (Think Random Nut Generator) Since real life talents are an option, revealing face/personal details would not be necessary, but perhaps just a notecard with your IGN would suffice to prove it's you! Personally, I'd love to see something like this become a reality, because I know plenty of Royalers have passions and skills outside of the game, and I think there's beauty in someone expressing things they're passionate about! Imagine that someone has learned to draw his character in an epic situation and colored in full color, example would be defeating the Crimsom Balrog on the ship that goes from Ellinia to Orbis, or even a magician casting healing while a fighter fights for him in a certain place Like himmes, I would like to see those sketches! I did it but I don't know how to draw.
With the current event we’re giving the players much more freedom in their submission opportunities. Not 1:1 what you said but I hope you’ll like it either way. Time to combine your talent and mapleroyals somehow! Thanks for your feedback!
