I'm wondering whether Royals has ever considered implementing Protection scrolls against booming equipments and then adding them to gachapons/bosses, maybe adding them to unpopular gacha's with a drop rate of double as rare as ws/cs, so for every 2 ws/cs it's 1 protection scroll, same goes for gachapon. The protection scrolls only protect the item from booming, so you will need to use a white scroll if you don't want to lose the uppgrade slot. The reason i'm suggesting this is because I'm frigging tired of failing 10% scrolls, I'm working on making a 122 att DSC, i've used 60-70 WS thus far and i've only successfully scrolled it twice.
wouldn't that make a 30% scroll broken? cause you get better odds AND you're guaranteed no-boom, so.. it's kinda broken. unless it's an untradeable item and can be acquired only from gacha, which would probably make it more balanced.
I could see something like this added as a one-time event sort of deal, like event 50% scrolls and 15% scrolls. But as a permanent feature it seems really powerful. Also with all the headaches that white scrolls cause I'm sure the spaghetti code needed for an extra check would probably result in some pain.
It would be unnecessary to add such scroll. 30%+"unboom scroll"+ws is just (almost) the same as 3 times 10%+ws The unboom scroll that you are looking for is just 2 ws.
I wouldn't mind it being untradeable either and only acquired from gacha with a lower drop rate compared to ws/cs, i mean i just used 2 more ws on scrolling the DSC today and both failed, royals really should make it easier for people to scroll their own perfect weapon i'm way over the odds currently. It's gotten so bad that i've had periods of stopping playing royals extendedly and only vote, use the nx for gacha and then the ws for scrolling, fail, feel bad and stop playing again I do understand that the odds is almost the same as 3 times 10% + ws, but just knowing that the odds are higher is much better than being 60-70 ws in and only successfully scrolling the weapon twice, i do believe that a unboom scroll would help out a lot of people that are real unlucky when it comes to scrolling
