Would happy to see some rework of the effect to make the text easier to read, like change the background color a little bit darker maybe? I bought this RP chat ring on the day it came out, it's really beautiful of course but people including myself think the effect just too bright too see anything normally, in this half year without exception(sometimes I even need to remove it so friends won't miss important message)
That is quite blinding. To my knowledge, it is significantly easier (and probably better) to alter the text color than to change the background. I think a fix like that would be sufficient. Will forward to the devs. Note the image is just an example, not sure what the final color will look like if changed.
