Problem: We need to walk all the way from Ship portal to Magatia portal everytime we visit Ruel to complete the daily HP quest (and walk back again to return to another area) Request: Add a shortcut next to Magatia portal (or relocate the far-left portal to next to Magatia portal) Rationale: - Huge QoL improvement for all players who do HP quest daily - Technically not very difficult for developers to implement - The change does not break the game balance or nostalgia
what about all the interesting scenery you will be missing out on? and this would devalue investments in speed mobs like the silver hog that you worked for!
Oh don't worry us BMs put those hogs to use, you don't need to worry about them getting plump and lazy~ That Ariant stretch though (as well as APQ walk right stage) is honestly one of the low points of daily reuel in my opinion - at least with finding the mobs, you're revisiting and walking through different locations every day. Sometimes to avoid the stretch I'd go back into the nearest portal (e.g. to the genie or to the left/right mob maps), use return town scrolls, and hope I land next to where I want to be even though I know I'm just wasting time.
I suppose there was a reason why Nexon developers did not design any shortcut in right half of the town. They might thought people were supposed to take a walk (with the sound from the town) at least to get to the Camel. But... they could not have imagined that in 15 years people would start visiting Magatia daily for some reason? I just wanted the map to better align with what Royals uniquely has right now. I respect the nostalgia though! I will leave it up to the community and staffs.
This doesn't only help people doing Reuel's quest. People using Ariant as a shortcut back to Victoria Island would also appreciate not spending an extra 20 seconds walking through that same stretch of town. I'm already taking the nostalgia boat/train/airship/genie, so another teleporter would be really nice as a treat. I guess most people use fast travel tickets so they don't bother using the magic carpet guy.
