I had the same problem since my archer's Lv 70 mount was from old source. I had to drop it and ask for another potion to capture a hog from Kenta. I went to Leafre to pay 20m because travelling back to Aqua/Korean Folk Town and capturing another Hog. Once I acquired a new Hog, its level was the same as the old one - Lv 4. I didn't receive the quest for a silver mane until some time had passed.
