Fixed Quest stole Nine Spirit's Egg.

Problem: Irrelevant quest stole my Egg.
Details: Just finished a HT run with Synergy (obligatory cred shoutout) and was rewarded to loot the Nine Spirit's Egg. Knew I had to do some quests in order to get the Dragon Stone to scroll a HT Pendant so decided to collect all the quests in Leafre and do some other quests while at it. One which led me to Grendel, after visiting Chief Tatamo, and upon delivering Tatamo's Letter, it opened up a new quest. I continued to accept it and out of nowhere (I did have 1 free etc slot while doing this) Grendel stole my Nine Spirit's Egg and gave me Grendel the Really Old's Message in this quest. Including some screenshots to show I did have a slot for the letter and I don't believe this quest is part of getting the Dragon Stone, and if it is I apologize for the inconvenience, but I won't continue questing until this is resorted. Also including I did not complete the "Missing Hero" that gives the Dragon Stone.

Refunded an egg, however @Pete or @Matt will have to take a look into this.

 

Since the egg was refunded, I've moved this to report bugs for pete to look into it.

 

The weird part is that the actual Dragon Stone quest doesn't even remove the egg

 

^ What vic said, the actual quest itself doesnt even remove the egg. But it 'acts' like it does, in that it wont allow you back into the portal to do the quest again because it says you need the nine spirits egg. Even when its in your inventory. (Probably same bug that affects many other quests:

Some quests do not remove quest items from inventory upon turning them in.
"Take the Gold Pouch to Muirhat" - NPC Muirhat does not remove Gold Pouch from your inventory upon completion.
5. "Deliver the Tattered Map to Black Bark" - NPC Black Bark does not remove Tattered Map from your inventory upon completion.
6. "John's Pink Flower Basket" - NPC John in Lith Harbor does not remove Pink Viola from your inventory upon completion.
7. "John's Present" - NPC John in Lith Harbor does not remove Blue Viola from your inventory upon completion.
8. "Dress for Kyrin" - NPC Black Bark in the Nautilus does not remove Dress from your inventory upon completion.
9. "Porchay's Letter" - NPC Kenta does not remove Porchay's Letter from your inventory upon completion.
10. "Help Me Find My Glasses" - NPC Abel does not remove Abel's Glasses and the Miscellaneous Glasses upon completion.
11. "The Truth Behind the Black Shadow" - NPC Baine does not remove Daily Log from your inventory upon completion.
12. "Athena Pierce's Gift" - NPC Kyrin does not remove Old Orgel from your inventory upon completion.
13. "The Half-Written Letter" - NPC Athena Pierce - Bowman Instructor does not remove Crumpled Paper from your inventory upon completion.
14. "A Banquet for the Whalians" - NPC Porchay does not remove Whalean Canned Food from your inventory upon completion.
15. "Information for Dr. Kim" - NPC Dr. Kim does not remove Rolonay's Research Report from your inventory upon completion.
16. "Just Another Day At Work: Roly-Poly 10" - Each Roly-Poly is either suppose to take the Manager Karl's Camera from your inventory, or they are not supposed to give you another Manager Karl's Camera. At the end of this quest, the player will have 10 Manager Karl's Cameras, but NPC Manager Karl does not remove any Manager Karl's Camera from your inventory upon completion.
17. "Roly-Poly 6's Tool" - NPC Roly-Poly 6 does not remove Screwdriver from your inventory upon completion.
18. "Amoria: Cupid's Courier - Warrior" - NPC Angelique does not remove Richard's Letter from your inventory upon completion.
19. "Alpha Platoon's Network of Communication" - In this quest string you should accumulate 3 A Piece of an Ancient Scroll. NPC Staff Sergeant Charlie gives you one, but NPC Sergeant Bravo gives you two and Corporal Easy gives you three - giving you a grand total of 6. Only three are removed from your inventory at the end of the quest.
20. "Dr. Kim's Comments : A Meeting with Chury" / "Dr. Kim's Comments : A Meeting with Hoony" / "Dr. Kim's Comments : A Meeting with Gunny" - The NPCs that end each respective quest does not remove the Robot Manual from your inventory upon completion (leaving you with three in your inventory at the end).
21 . Sr. Bellflowers drop Mythical Flour which is a quest exclusive to MapleSEA and is not accessible to players (at least maybe not until the Valentine's Day events begin?)
22. "John's Last Present" - NPC John does not remove the 30 White Violas from your inventory upon completion of the quest.
23. The Cracked Black Crystal" - Although the game never did take this from your inventory, the Cracked Black Crystal should be removed from your inventory at the conclusion of this quest.
24. "In Search of the Book of Ancient" - Part of this string requires the player to talk with the four leaders of Victoria Island. Each leader is supposed to give you one Old Piece of Map. Dances with Balrog gives one, but Grendel the Really Old gives two, Athena Peirce gives three, and Dark Lord gives four for a total of 10, and Alcaster only takes four and leaves six in your inventory upon completion. Either each of the leaders need to give only 1, or Alcaster needs to remove 10 from your inventory.
25. During the 3rd Job quest string, NPC Tylus does not remove the Black Charm and the Necklace of Wisdom from your inventory. Also, you do not need the Necklace of Wisdom in your inventory to complete the 3rd Job Advancement.
