I was wondering if it was possible to have 30k mana as a level 137 mage.

I honestly don't have any good low level int equips, so I'm hoping that it isn't necessary if MP washing to 30k mana by level 137 is possible.

If it is, can anyone tell me the level needed to start MP washing without including the bonus int gained from the equips.

    Thank you in advance~

MP isn't affected by INT from equips, only base INT. I think you can get 30k MP by 137 but I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks! I can't seem to find a MP washing calculator for mages x_x
The Improved MaxMP Increase is also killing me, I'll try to see if I can find the level needed to start MP washing

If I remember correctly, the formula is (Base INT/10) - 30 for every wash. So if I take myself as an example:

    908 base INT
    (Base INT/10) - 30
    (908/10) - 30
    90.8 - 30
    50.8
    ~50 MP

And since you get 5 APs per level up, its 50 MP x 5 so I should gain 250 MP by MP washing per level, but since we got Improved MaxMP Increase, those numbers are a bit different. Skill description says that you get +10 more on top of MaxMP if AP is applied, so if my math is right it would be:

    250 + (10*5)
    300

That's 300 additional MP from washing + whatever you get from leveling up. And now that I think of it, to answer,

it would be whatever level you get at least 400 base INT, as anything under you won't get any additional MP.

I think shiyui's HP washing calculator can be used as a MP washing calculator as well. You just set your HP goal to your natural HP at that level.

Or you can tell us what your current LV, baseINT, clean HP, and clean MP are, and I can check out the calculator to see if it's helpful in this case.

I was planning to start a new character.
    Level: 19
    Clean HP: 278
    Clean MP: 705
    Base INT: 103

I tried to use Shiyui's calculator but I honestly couldn't figure out how to set the mana target for level 137 to 30k disregarding the amount of HP I had >_<

Thank you so much~ I was trying to figure out the least base INT needed to begin with in order to start gaining MP :D

Edit: Not sure if adding my base INT was relevant, but I thought I would :p

    Here. Things I did:
    • Target base INT should be the INT you have at LV137 when you go full INT. For 4th job mage it is (137 * 5 + 30 - 12) = 703.
      • 4th job characters have Level*5 + 30 total AP (which includes the 5 AP from 3rd job advance and 5 AP from 4th job advance). Subtract the 4 base STR, DEX, and LUK to get the formula.
    • Target HP goal should be the natural HP of mages at LV137, which is 1696 (found from below).
    • Adjust MP washing start level to the latest level that gives you 30K MP at LV137. In this case, it is LV52.
    • Conservatively assume 0 INT gear (as you said) and no maple warrior. If you have INT gear and MW you would reach your goal quicker.
So you start doing MP washing from LV52, by LV137 you would have 30K MP. Total of 426 AP resets used.

It would be a lot cheaper if you start doing it at higher levels (LV160+). But if you just want 30K MP at LV137, that's the thing to do.
