Do you guys enjoy playing your NL? Are you satisfied with your 4th job skills? What skills besides TT do you find yourself commonly using? (Which are useful and which are useless?) How would you compare yourself to other 4th job characters? (in terms of training speed, fun, etc...) If you could have choose another job would you? If so what would it be? Do you guys enjoy playing your NL? In my Opinion I find Nightlord the funnest class. Are you satisfied with your 4th job skills? Triple throw is a very fun skill to me. Venom is useful training in spots such as JR newties or skeles. Then you got shadow swifter where monsters miss on you get a What skills besides TT do you find yourself commonly using? (Which are useful and which are useless?) Other than TT the only skill I find useful would be Avenger. Shadow mesos ,web ETC all those 3rd job attacking skills seem useless to me. There is one skill (forgot the name) Pushes mobs away to prevent punching I think thats a good skill How would you compare yourself to other 4th job characters? (in terms of training speed, fun, etc...) In comparision IMO I like nightlords the best. We also train pretty quick. And TT Makes the balloon popping noises who doesn't love that? If you could have choose another job would you? If so what would it be? If I had to choose another class to main in terms of fun and has decent damage. I'd most certainly would choose a corsair. They seem pretty fun with that battleship of theirs. I just can't stand training them 1st-3rd job hehe. (Shoutout to all the sairs who got 4thjob)
Do you guys enjoy playing your NL? Very much. I can't really give like a thorough explanation since im only 122 ATM, but so far I'm really enjoying it. Are you satisfied with your 4th job skills? Yea, I mean, I don't have TT yet, but L7 with shadow partner is fun enough and its a pretty strong skill... Shadow Stars is also a pretty neat skill and I really like using it to train/boss. Shadow shifter would also be pretty neat to use since you F2 when you dodge successfully. What skills besides TT do you find yourself commonly using? (Which are useful and which are useless?) Shadow stars is a very useful skill that many NLs use to train/boss. I'll admit that some skills are useless, such as Ninja ambush, but there is definitely more to NLs than TT. How would you compare yourself to other 4th job characters? (in terms of training speed, fun, etc...) I'd say that NLs are really fun to lvl, especially since most high lvl ppl tell me that all they do is boss to lvl up and stuff. To me, that's pretty cool and a nice alternative to grinding. There might be other classes that might be able to boss better than NLs but NLs are one of the best at bossing. If you could have choose another job would you? If so what would it be? I would not, since I always dreamed of being a hermit back in the "old days". But if I had to choose a different class, I probably would choose Dark Knights, simply cause I always wanted to use spear crusher since its an awesome skill. Once again, I am not very experienced with Night Lords cause I am only 2 lvls in, but I am looking forward to the higher lvls when i can start to boss and all that jazz. thanks for the reply man, was just looking for some insight regarding NLs and dont worry lol I'm defs not going to quit....was just a little dissappointed at the lack of skills (mob skills in particular) that NLs have in comparison to other jobs...but it does make sense like President Obama said, since they do have the highest DPS.
Sairs only outdamage them if they are on ship (which has a cd now), so sairs generally do not white at bosses that 1/1 (zak/pap) or have full map attacks (ht). Hero is the class that will consistently outdps NL without SE.
With ship sairs will outdps NLs with or without SE if you take into account pure damage, but NLs have really high avoid. In a party with SE: 1. Sair/NL (depending if avoid is needed or if sair is off ship) 2. Hero 3. DK/Bowmaster Solo: 1. Bowmaster 2. Hero 3. Sair 4. NL
