Hello, I play a Dark Knight and just hit 135 (with 29.6k hp!) and I'm excited to start bossing, just had a few questions first before joining any parties since I have only ever done Zak and Krex once.

-Am I expected to apple every run or will warrior elixers be fine? (My range is 2101-4760 not using anything)
    -What's an exp run?
-How is the zakum loot distributed?
-Should I grind more before joining any parties?

    Thanks for your assistance.

For a splits run, I believe most people expect decent attack pots so I would say gizer or better minimum. This is because the point of the zak is to be fast (increasing the likelihood of buyers surviving/not dcing). I personally like to use green ciders on exp runs because they are super cheap, only 1k!, and can be found at an npc in Showa market. The only downside is that 1 cider takes up 1 inv slot. Still, 20 atk is nothing to be sneezed at considering how cheap and accessible they are.

An exp run is when there are no buyers. It is purely done for the exp and helm loots for the attackers. The only thing that would be split is Gen20 if it drops.

Splits are generally calculated so that every attacker + bishop gets and equal amount of mesos. So for example, if you sold 2 helms at 60m each then assuming a party of 6 people, everyone would get about 20m (a little less because of tax but you get the idea).

When I zakked on my hero at 135, it was very annoying because I did not have max stance. I would definitely recommend grinding if you have spare time and to do krex as well.

    Thanks for the information!
If Gen20 did drop, do you need to wait for the leader to sell it first to get your split?
Yeah, only lvl7 stance at the moment. I'll go grind at Petri then and see if I can join any krex runs in the meantime.

Yes. Someone, usually the leader or a trustworthy person with the best fm spot, will sell the book and then tell you when it is sold. Then they will have you set up arrows or etc in your shop so that they can give you your splits. It is very sketchy to give splits before it sells because the market could always change and they might be selling it for more while not giving you your correct split.
