Quick bowmaster hp wash question (Math needs doublecheck)

Hello hello,

I just wanted to ask this quick so i don't make a stupid mistake and cause problems for myself

SO

Stats
Bow master level 125
(no hp or mp equipment equipped)
HP: 3808
MP: 5064

MP needed for goal of 9k HP = 5318mp

5318 - 5064 = 254 mp extra required

OK so my question is, Do archers gain 10-12 mp PER LEVEL UP (average 11 lets say)
which would mean I can accomplish my goal of 5318 Mp at level 148 with no extra int equips or base int involved???
(254mp / 11mp per level up = 23 ~~~~~~ 23 + 125 = level 148)

I ask this because i would like to reset my base int (160) as soon as possible because I'm tired of leeching myself while still being able to accomplish the MP needed for 9k hp at level 155 =P

No.
You will not get 10~12 additional MP without any base int or int eq.

 

So you get no mp when you level up period?

 

You will get MP.
But very little additional MP.

You do get MP, and it's 14-16 if I recall.

But based on the min MP formula: min MP = level x 14 + 148, you'll need more than 14-16 MP gain to have leftover MP to wash out. I'd recommend keeping in your base INT till level 135.

Another option, albeit expensive, is to double wash for the next 4 levels. At each level, you add your fresh 5 APs into MP, then reset out of MP into DEX, that'll give you 16 x 5 = 80 extra MP per level, meaning you can get 320 extra MP by level 129 (at the cost of 20 AP resets). After that, you'll be able to reset out of your 160 base INT.

You will need to have approximately 5318 Total MaxMP by level 155

I already have 5064 and im level 125 look at my calculation

Edit - Now im level 126 an have 5099mp

 

Yes you will gain 12MP when you level up.

But it is not washable.

As long as i don't go under the minimum mp for archers shouldnt i be able to wash

Minimum MaxMP Formula for Archer = (14 x level) + 148
(14 x 155 + 148) = 2318 minimum mp
5318-2318 = 3000mp extra

SO 3000 mp / 12 (the amount an ap reset takes away) = 250 ap resets

1 ap reset = (16-20 using 18 as an average) hp x 250 = 4500 hp

4500 base hp no washing at level 155 + 4500 hp = 9000 hp

Does this not make sense or am i missing some thing about hp washing?

 

Yes, by your calculation of MP you will have at lvl 155, is okay for you to clear your INT right now .

When HP washing, is the best if you use LVLUPAP to add into your HP, then use APRESET - MP + dex.

This way you can gain slightly more HP.

BTW i believe that it is only the thief class that needs to HP wash by using level up AP according to the HP washing guide i linked

I could be wrong though but i think the guide is probably correct.

 

I have a Bowmaster friend
He used APreset to add HP, he gain 16,
LVLUPAP add 18.

But it seems by adding LVLUPAP adds more HP than APRESET

 

Then they were just lucky. I have a washed bowman and there was no difference. The 16 they thought they got was probably the visual number they saw when using an AP reset. It always shows the minimum HP possible even though the actual gain is random. I myself have gotten 20 hp a number of times while using ap resets.

 

Ahhhh I see, so it makes no difference between using LVLUPAP or APRESET on BM?

 

For bm's its always 16-20 doesnt matter if its fresh ap or ap reset. Imo u should do what @Dapper said and mp wash 20 times (4 lvs) and then reset int.
