    Please use the following format when posting in Character Issues:

    IGN: (Your character name)
    Problem: (E.g. Boss run failed after mass DC)
    Details: (Explain what happened as clearly as possible, including information you think might be relevant. If you have lost items, please list them here, with screenshots if possible.)


    Guidelines:

    • Deleting unforfeitable questlines is not a service we offer at this point in time.
    • Take screenshots of boss runs during mass lag episodes for your own sake.
    • Take screenshots of valuable/important items that you own or are trading/selling.
    • Double-check all your inventories (game, storage, cash), change channels, use ~buyback, and relog before reporting items or mesos as missing. Include information on when and how items or mesos were lost to receive the best possible assistance.
    • Remember mesos with Fredrick are taxed daily, and dropped or NPCed items are nonrefundable.
    • Please store friendship rings and other unwanted NX in the cash shop or move them over to another account.
    • Players possessing a Hog from 2016 or earlier whom wish to obtain a Silver Mane must drop it along with their saddle and restart the quest.
    • The bride and groom must remain in the cake room for the duration of the timer to become officially married with hearts in each character’s UI filled.

    FAQ

    Q: Voted but didn't get NX?
    1) Go to https://royals.ms/vote
    2) Type the USERNAME of an account containing a level 15 or above character
    3) Click
    'vote'
    4) On the next page click where it says 'please click here to vote'
    5) On the next page complete the FunCaptcha:

    5a) Click 'verify'
    5b) Follow the instructions
    5c) Click
    'done'
    5d) Click the red button 'VOTE FOR MAPLEROYALS - NOSTALGIC MAPLESTORY SERVER'
    6) Seeing the green 'Thank you for voting!' message means you have successfully voted
    7) Wait 2 minutes then check the cash shop for your NX

    Q: Crashing as soon as I enter my PIC?
    A) Close running background web browsers and applications.
    B) Restart your PC then retry.
    C) Open two clients and attempt to login to both.
    D) You have an invalid MAC address on your computer. Check to see if you have all unnecessary network adapters disabled and try again. Disable them by following these steps:


    1) Click the Start button
    2) Open your Control Panel
    3) Open Network Connections
    4) In the search box, type adapter
    5) Under Network and Sharing Center click "View network connections"
    6) Right click on any unused adapters, and click Disable

    Then try logging in.

    Or alternatively, check for hidden ipv6 adapters such as Microsoft 6to4 Adapter or Microsoft ISATAP Adapter by doing the following:

    • Open Command Prompt (cmd.exe), and type "netsh interface ipv6 isatap set state disabled"
    • And if necessary:
    • Open Start Menu
    • Type In: Device Manager
    • Select Device Manager
    • Click the View menu from the top
    • Select Show Hidden Devices (Must be check before continuing)
    • Scroll down and expand Network Adapters
    • Right-Click a duplicated Microsoft 6to4 Adapter or Microsoft ISATAP Adapter
    • Select Uninstall
    • Click OK for the pop-up warning message
    • Repeat and repeat for each of the unwanted duplicated adapter
    • Close Device Manager when finished
    E) You are MAC banned. Submit a ban appeal.

    Q: Lost or forgotten PIC/PIN, username, or password?
    Please use the Control Panel to reset your PIC, PIN, or password.

    If you lost your username or email, please refer to this guide to request a manual recovery of your account.

    Q: HP Washing does not work?
    In order to begin this process, you need to place 1 AP into HP. The 'lost' AP will be retrieved later on when you've reached your goal by using an AP Reset to pull out that first AP from HP back to your damage stat.

    Q: Missing SP after job advancing late?
    Beginners who level past 30 will lose SP for each successive level. This is not subject to refunds as it is not a bug. Other priorities combined with its level of difficulty have resulted in no current plans to change this mechanic.

    Remember to advance on time to avoid missing out on Skill Points!

    Q: My account was hacked, what should I do?
    Please note that hacked accounts are not subject to refunds as there have not been database breaches from our end resulting in hackings in the distant past. Set a strong PIN/PIC when you log in next and change your password from the Control Panel to ensure your characters cannot be accessed by others again.

    Q: Lagging or crashing on one or more characters while in-game?
    Log in to another character to distinguish whether the issue is character specific.

    For character specific cases:

    - List new cash items that were bought before the issue began.
    - Leave your guild if you are in one and relog, then let us know if it persists.

    For non-character specific cases:

    - Include which region of the world you are attempting to connect from.
    - Let us know if the characters affected have bought the same cash item recently or are in the same guild. If the answer to either of these is yes, follow the instructions for character specific cases above.
