hello everyone! i recently made a magician character and she's currently a level 34 (i think) cleric and im training her to be a bishop. i was wondering if there's any specific equip such as armor, weapons, etc. that i should know of/be wearing as of now and for the future? im still wearing the stuff i started out with besides a maple shield someone gave me. i am following the horntail bishop guide but i just wanted to make sure. also excuse my noobiness, i never played maplestory pre-bigbang and im still a little new to mapleroyals but any help would be appreciated! thank you in advance!
You could technically go until level 120 on a wooden wand, wearing the same gear as you left Maple Island with. There is nothing to worry about. LUK-Less is quite the way to go for mages for many reasons. So if you are still wearing a white t-shirt and a red skirt that is competely fine. There are some things to pick up along the way that could help you out. You can try to buy them, alltough I always enjoy grinding them myself and there might not be a market for some of these items so they can be hard to find seller for. You can use this website to find the mobs that drop items you are looking for: https://royals-drops.herokuapp.com/#/ Maple Staff Maple Lama Staff Maple Wisdom Staff Elemental Wand 1,2,3,4 (level 70) Maple Pyrope Wand Elemental Wand 5,6,7,8 (level 130) (5 and 7 will likely be (far) more expensive than 6 and 8) There are many umbrella's that also give M.Atk, you can try to get a good one of those as well. As a mage you easily buy yourself a Zakum Helm at level 50. Can recommend getting that as soon as possible. In combination with something like a Deputy Star you might have (close to) enough to wear low level Mage equips. You could also simply just wear an INT Bathrobe, alltough quite some more expensive than a low level Mage Overall.
