Hello, I wanted to play Maple Royals after a long time and I realized I have an old account here, so I downloaded the game, logged in (it asked me to choose the sex of my characters, apparently they have been wiped) and tried to create a character. However, whichever name I choose for my new character, it says that the name is already taken. Is there a possibility to fix this? Troubleshooting didn't help. Thanks
Character creation has been disabled for the time being. as far as I know, they do not wipe accounts/characters so that seems a bit odd if you had any characters before
If it asks the sex of your character just choose whatever, it doesnt mean the character was wiped. If from there on your character is deleted, that would be something that would've happened only if you were hacked.
Might be possible, I did not mean to confuse with the character wipe thing. So characters cannot be created and new accounts can be registered, right? Is this a recent thing? Should I check regularly if I can create a character or is it known that this will be a long term issue?
We're hoping to start making progress on char creation/account registration soon, it has just required a lot of work on other things before it's possible to re-open it. I'd suggest checking in once a week or so, check the shoutbox for info as well.
