Hey Guys! So I took a bit of time and spent a bit of meso to formulate this google sheet. I've sampled 500 Red Envelopes, and logged each opening. The objectives: - Find out what the odds of hitting jackpots were for Meso rewards and NX Rewards. - Analyze if it's worth buying Red Envelopes or farming them. - If it's more profitable to open, or to sell. I thought this would be a fun quick-ish project to see what the odds are. View my experience : Google Drive Sheet Link - View Only - Spoiler: Odds % for NX / Mesos Jackpots The results showed identical % yields odds for both NX and Mesos. Both were 2% . The ratio seemed to be similar every 100 opened envelopes. ( 2 Jackpots for every 100 Red Envelopes. ) Spoiler: Total Mesos & NX Made. Total Mesos Made : 91,470,000 Total NX Made: 60,100( In Meso value at 1:5 mil ratio = 300,500,000 ) Spoiler: Total Profit Made Total spent for this project was 325,000,000.00 Mesos. Profit made was 66,970,000 Mesos. ( assuming I sold all the NX I got at a 1:5 mil ratio ) BREAK DOWN: Total Mesos + Total NX - Total Spent ( 91,470,000 + 300,500,000 - 325,000,000 ) That's pretty much it ! Price of nx leans more towards 1:4 imo if you base it on APR prices, based on that I'd say selling is better
IMO it’s better to open the envelopes yourself. the drop rate of red envelopes is lower and the price people are trying to buy them off is not worth it. Open it yourself and profit. (more ppl voted open envelopes on the poll) I personally stopped selling when I saw people trying to buy and sell below 700k each. so I opened my first 100 I gained about 63mil in both mesos and nx and based the price of nx off 13m each apr 13m=3100nx. I value nx 1:5. So thats not taking into consideration I could earn more. Also IMO I think this was a bad unlucky run as I barely got any good nx cards. ( only one 5k rest were 100’s 250’s) imagine if I was lucky. So IMO sell your envelopes at higher prices or open them yourselves.
