Hello, I tried to register using my email but it says it has been already registered, but I've never played on this server before. I 99,99% sure that I haven't played here before but is there a way to recover a password only by using the email? Keep in mind that the email I'm registering for is the one I use solely for games, this is why I want it so badly. So what should I do? Thanks in advance.
If you want to recover your password, please follow these steps: You need to send a PM to John with the following information: 1) Your login ID 2) The date of birth associated with your account 3) The email address associated with your account 4) The sha-1 hash of a new password (the new password itself must be less than 12 characters long) To get the sha-1 hash of your new password, go here: http://www.sha1-online.com/ Enter your password there and press the "hash" button, then paste the hash into the PM. Don't forget to mention that you're trying to recover your password.
Thanks for the info, but I guess it won't help me at all. As I said before, I've never registered my email here because I never played a private Maple Story before, this is my first time. Therefore, there must be something wrong with the website that says the email is already registered. Someone might had misspelled theirs and put mine by mistake... anyways that's kinda annoying I'll keep searching for the password, if there is any, in my old emails see if I find it...
