The portal to leave RG after killing golem boss is just there on the left side. Please remove leaving RG as an option through the NPC spawn to avoid accidental leaves (instead of going into bonus room).
We have recently discussed this and decided not to make a change. The NPC dialogue is pretty straight forward and while we do like QoL updates it seems there is no need in this case. The NPC basically asks you "Do you want to go to the bonus maps?" and the options are "Yes" and "No". Even by spamming NPC chat bound to the Y key you'd go straight to bon. If don't want to mess up by clicking "No" instead of "Yes" we suggest to slow down. Nevertheless thanks for your feedback!
