Closed Reposting Ban Appeal

Last thing you did: I was farming at Ulu 2 with my Bishop trying to get money to 1 day fund an attacker, since I am fairly new(just started approx. 2 weeks ago) to the server after having taken a multiple year break and had pretty much nothing. On the day I assume I must have done some wrongful action, I was up over 24 hours trying to fix my sleep schedule for a funeral I have to attend today. So, I thought farming ulu 2 and watching movies would be the best way to try and stay awake without needing to use much brain function like trying to figure out boss prequests or stuff like that, that my guildies always try and tell me to work on. After I couldn't stay awake any longer(I think I got to maybe 30 hours total of staying awake) I went to sleep with my characters(Danaroni and PPL2HEAL afk on a ladder and Exploitist afk in Ch2 FM3 by the door near my store). Then I woke up like 10-12 hours later with all of my Maples frozen, I assumed it was the crashing thing everyone else had so I closed my screens, downloaded the files and went back to sleep more to try and fix my schedule further, with the intention of trying to new files once I woke up and would play again. I just tried to log on my account and I got "This is an ID that has been deleted or blocked from connection."
Why do you think you got banned?: No idea. Please someone explain.

Other Information: If I broke some type of rule without knowing I apologize profusely. I started playing this server after many years of not playing because my girlfriend and I wanted to play MapleStory for the nostalgia after sharing countless stories together. I truly have no idea what I may have done that was wrong. I've tried to be nice to every player I have come in contact with. I try to help out anyone who I see that has questions and I have been trying to slowly learn all of the nuances that make Maple Royals different to other servers.

Please let me know what I did that was wrong and I please ask that I be allowed to play again. I will correct whatever alleged improper action, I just want to enjoy playing this game with my girlfriend.

I spent some time talking to Dave(Emoji Mod) and ae(HAE#1000) on the discord trying to figure out what may have caused this. Apparently I participated in voting abuse due to a misunderstanding and sheer stupidity on my part. Since my ban I have read the following 2 forum posts:

The only prior knowledge I had regarding voting is due to Shank's Quiz, which after them having shown me screenshots of the quiz, I simply misunderstood. I thought the rule was only 1 vote per account (meaning not getting more than 8k NX on a given account). I thought the server was trying to avoid people gaining 16,24,32k etc on an account via some form of work around. I didn't know I couldn't vote once via computer and once via phone for DIFFERENT accounts.

They told me the chances of me being able to play this server again is extremely low due to precedent. The only thing I can say and hope for is, none of the NX purchases I have made have any any of my accounts. I'd be more than willing to have any single NX item removed from my accounts if it would mean I could get reduced to a 14-day ban and be allowed to play Maple Royals again with my girlfriend(IGN: Stebbaroni).

All I can do now is ask for leniency due to my own stupidity. Dave and Ae have also shown me the voting page with underlined sections that should have better explained this to me, but being the impatient moron I am, I wouldn't even read the page and just quickly type in my Username and get back to playing as soon as possible.

Sorry for potentially ruining the integrity of this great server. I thought what I was doing was "the normal" and acceptable behavior.

PS: I am reposting this because I am hoping now that it's been a while that I can be allowed to come back. Im not asking for my accounts back and if I could get my accounts back I'd ask that all NX be stripped from them and you can even remove every item Game or NX for all I care, I just want to be able to play here with my friends. I know now that I shouldn't have done it, at the time it was an honest mistake of understanding some text incorrectly. If allowed back onto the server, I will never again vote on more than 1 account. I just want to be allowed to play and have fun in old school MapleStory.... Its my favorite game of all time and I'd like to play on this server with my friends again.

 

So is there anything I can do or any duration of time that would allow me to play on the server even if a new account from complete scratch?

Or am I so irredeemable for understanding something differently and have apologized for it?

 

I just find it wild how a misunderstanding can cause a perma ban. I explained how I understood it to the admins in the discord at the time too and they had seemed to understand my point of view.

Like the thing that started this was my mistake, I know. However, its not like I did this with any malicious intent whatsoever.
