I haven't played in a looooong time and honestly in the vanilla maplestory I only ever got to like level 40~ or so. I have a few questions about playing on Maple Royals. Love the server so far btw! 1. Do I NEED to HP Wash or are there indeed quests to help avoid that? The whole thing confuses and stresses me out. 2. Are scrolls not worth anything since their drop rate is seemingly so high? 3. Best way to find friends and a guild? I dunno I found when I played old maplestory that it was fun with others but I always found it hard to make friends / find a guild while playing the game! 4. Best advice for grinding out marathon quests? Seems silly but I could never get too far because I would play too much and get burnt out on hunting 100 x monster or 100x drops. 5. Best beginner-friendly class? I have a hunter, bandit, and fighter right now because of course I did the above and played way too much to get 3 2nd job characters to try out classes. I am thinking on trying Pirate pew pew but not sure. I like Fighter but I kind of like Thief more? I've seen statements that thief is not beginner friendly though. 6. I dunno whatever other advice I didn't think of. I want to actually play this long-term and enjoy myself EDIT1: Oh also are PQs done at all? I haven't seen anyone looking to PQ the moon bunny or the king slime and I want to try and do them just for fun tbh? I can solo the tree and snail bosses but they seem like they're supposed to be doable solo lol.
1. Not a must, you need to be pretty funded to be HP washing. There are other methods to gain HP.
