Hi guys. I'm an old royal player and one of the main reasons I left it like 2 years ago was cuz of lags and bugs. Question is - was there any improvments since 2 years ? - Many skills did not work,many disabled PQs,DC's with no reason,some part of the PQ's crashed players) - Constant daily lags Let me know please. Thanks.
Skills work to my recollection. There are still differences from live to royals, like picking up items while in a party for example, but otherwise nothing unbearable. Alliance bug still exists among other things too. There's something called "New Source", which is in open beta right now. When it's ready, a lot of bugs and common complaints will be addressed... so there's that.
Community is larger but, most people are so self entitled assholes. Everyone reports for ksing or small abuse that's irrelevant. Bosses work for the most part. All mastery books are obtainable except mw30. A few classes still bugged but playable. prices are through the roof. Market is nice and large. I like the available resources and occasionally you meet nice people, but for the most part. there is no real community unless you have a strong guild
I have been here for almost 3 months and prefere this to global by a long shot. Getting money is easy and fun, bosses work fine. There are some glitches, but not many. The events are really nice. For what I know, the only bugged class is the Bucc, but I could be wrong. My only complain would be the lack of channels, we get to 1000 or more players at the time and getting to a map 120+ is really hard.
the beginning will be a grind(lvl 1-70). since CPQ is disabled and lmpq got nerfed. bosses(HT and Zak and Krex) are more difficult and challenging now. Especially Zak since it spams Stun. u can make some quick mesos with the current event going on right now, as u recieve a random reward from the tree. (usually every 2 or 3 hours)
Stability hasn't changed; any improvements are nullified by the increasing population. Non-english speakers seem to now outnumber english speakers. People desperately fish for reasons to get each other banned. Be careful talking to anyone or using super megaphones. Botting, vote abuse, and RMT are common. Buccs are still broken, and apparently using time leap is now bannable.
just using timeleap is not bannable f6 I personally dont know exactly how bucc's are bugged other than si works for mages, and some stuff about timeleap(that doesnt really matter) I think there might be some other stuff that is not working as its suposed to. But my friends who have or are playing buccs seem to be enjoing the class quite a bit. If you want to play bucc I dont think that you should be discouraged by anything people are saying about the class.
I would say definitely worth it, just be careful when talking to anyone...you'll know if you read the ban appeal and report abuse. Im not sure about those bugs, just back to royals like few days ago..
You mean you dont like being unable to understand more than 3/4 of the players you play along side? I wouldnt mind Taiwanese players so much if I wasnt treated like a leper by many of their players simply cause I'm not Taiwanese. Tried to join a Zak several weeks ago, was swore at in broken English and defamed when I said "lol no" when they asked "TW????"
Maybe that has to do with time zone more than anything? I always am on when there are a majority of English speaking players so I disagree. Secondly, people keep saying it's easy to be banned, but as long as you are polite and read/follow the rules you shouldn't have to be worried. I'm not saying there aren't people who try to ban others, but we also do look at the evidence provided to see if the reports were intentional (in other words, they weren't even offended, but wanted to ban). Secondly, if you're breaking the rules, you have to take responsibility for it If you haven't done anything, you wouldn't be banned for it. I do agree that it can be frustrating to find a map sometimes, but I still enjoy the game. I still enjoy the people as well. I guess my opinion would be to just try it out! Only you can decide for yourself if it's worth coming back or not. Just brush up on the T&C so you can avoid messy situations
Honestly, up till this passed week, ive never really been on before 10am or after 11pm EST so i was never on during TW prime time. But I spent most of my last week bascially playing later 11pm+ and earlier 7am+ and dealt with a lot of full maps and a lot of players who werent nearly as friendly. Not saying everyone was like that, just felt more harsh than I was used to than at my regular time.
I don't disagree and I do agree that defaming was completely unnecessary. Just wanted to point out though that some people have a VERY limited vocabulary and that in some cultures people use ?, ! more than others. It might not be anything angry or rude in other cultures, but may come off that way to us who aren't used to that kind of thing. I guess bottomline is don't just assume they're rude of harsh because it might just be a language barrier/culture difference.
I started playing in March so I only have a couple months of experience. Currently a 136 bishop working on a level 58 bandit. My experience on your issues: 1. Classes bugs: I've really only played bishop but it works perfectly. I've partied with pretty much all classes though, and the only complaint I heard was for shadower's assassinate. 2. PQ: I've done kpq, lpq, apq, and lmpq without any issues. I've people request ppq parties and I know my guild went to gpq so these definitely work too. Carnival pq is disabled. 3. Lag: Haven't experienced any lag since I started. 4. Disconnects: Before the big anniversary patch, I bossed with no issues, but after it I've dced 4/4 times. Each time I dced, usually 1 or 2 other people would also d/c , so I don't think it's a local problem. However, people are constantly recruiting for Zak and Krex, so it's definitely not a system wide issue and my guild mates and I were probably just unlucky. My experience on social aspects: 1. Bans: One of my guild mates mains buccaneer and we've bossed plenty of times. I think some people were exploiting a buccaneer skill glitch and got a 3 day ban so it's less banned for playing a character and more for exploiting a glitch. 2. Community - Same as any other really. There are always gonna be assholes and awesome people. It is pretty diverse as in there are people from all over the globe, which is pretty cool.
Saying it like this is akin to "I was just driving" when an officer pulls you over for going 30 above the speed limit. TL isnt bannable, only when you use it to abuse a glitch. Like every other glitch is bannable and always has been.
