Hello folks, Statement up front: I am not here to criticize anyone or anything and I think that the GMs have done an awesome job helping players. First, I would like to thanks royal for the recent promotion of GM intern kaii and Yanir, they have helped tremendous in terms of player issues and rewrap for bosses due to disconnects. Given that Royal have recently release character/account creation, I have seen and met many new members of the community. As the population raises, the demand for event and the need for equipment also increased, in particular, the need for zhelm. As a player that lives in USA east coast and a typical work hours from 8am to 5pm, it is hard to participate in a successful boss runs for krex or zakum (to not disconnect and have an available GM for rewrap). Is it possible that we could add more manpower to help with rewraps? A new staff in the USA would be awesome, especially east coast to accommodate such players as I. This might seem like a self-fish post but I just want my voice being heard.
Instead of focusing on more GMs to just rewarp players constantly (which gets very tiring and also very time consuming) the better plan is to try and fix the d/cs to begin with - which is what Kevin is working on now. Two of the GMs are in the US timezone but most of us cover a broad area between US and later timezones... Matty, Me, Eli and Yan are almost always awake at the same time, and Kai is awake for a good portion of the evening as well. The thing is that we're also not always online and sitting there for hours ready to rewarp everyone at a moment's notice. We're often trying to enjoy the game ourselves, participate in the event, or handle other things outside of it too. Currently it's just boss at your own risk, with the knowledge that you might not be able to get rewarped. We try our best though. Sometimes it's never ending... Example being just earlier. I was about to go make lunch. Saw in shoutbox and via smegas someone needed a rewarp, so I logged in to do two different krex rewarps. In that time, someone whispered my GM, and needed a zak rewarp. So I handled that too - and that ended up being 10 more rewarps within a half hour because they kept d/cing. I spent almost an hour just doing warps and by the time I logged out to go get something to eat, there were still people needing warps.
