Does rhinoplasty help to fix a broken nose? My friend met with a car accident last week. She had some minor injuries and had her nose broken. She is very disappointed about it because she used to look very beautiful. I have heard that a rhinoplasty operation can help in restoring the original shape of the nose. Is it true? Is it suitable for a patient who is recovering from an accident? Please give some genuine suggestions and pardon me if I had posted in the wrong section. Thanks in advance.
A rhinoplasty can indeed restore a more natural shape to your friends nose and resolve any trauma leading to restoration of any lost function. The best thing to do would be for her to consult her GP to get an evaluation on her situation as it does vary hugely from case to case and they will be able to determine the best course of action.
