IGN: gamergirl69X Problem: Rollback and ineffective compensation Details: Went from a 122 Bishop with Genesis and Bahamut to a 114 Priest. The current compensation of exp and drops are meaningless to me as I wasted two entire days trying to complete the bishop skill prequests from walking from place to place because teleport rocks and elevators don't work as well. At minimum I want my skills back so I don't have to go through all that trouble once again because of a rollback and an already bugged game. Not a good look guys.

Im completely on the same page as you. Alot of higher level chars are talking smack because im complaining from going from 50 to 67. Its about everyones not mine. Ive made it a point to try and do every quest, i was off for 4 days. I did a plethora of annoying quests (because some quest items drop 1 in every 1000 monsters) and I wont be off for 2 more weeks. Id be willing to bet doublexp will be over by then, and by no means does that give ANY of us the time back we spent out of our lives. Should do 10x xp for 3 days. So what if some people come up? Its just really crazy to me there was a server update on 6/11 at like 8am. That is pretty darn close to 4 days within a few hours. So...seems like something went wrong with the update or someone didnt properly update, although that doesnt seem to be discussed. Its expensive to back up, okay sure, well then why did you not wait to update until you were going to back the server up first? I know this will be met with harsh criticism but I feel like that is the basics, anything that can compromise server integrity should be predated with a backup. If it wasnt financially sound to back up before the update, then why on earth would you not wait until you did decide to back up to do an update?
They can not refund you. It is not possible because they don't have any record of you being at that lvl. I was rolled back from 192 to 191. A lot of players are on the same page. There are people who have lost more than 20b this last 3 days and won't recovered it any ways. I'm sorry but all you can do is move on...
Who's fault is that? We aren't the ones responsible for record keeping every gain we make. Everyone deserves appropriate compensation for what they lost, at minimum.
It is the servers fault ofc. But same as gms, Nexon wouldn't offer your items back. They would just do some 2exp event to compensate. I know how frustrated you must be and I am really sorry for that. What it's done it's done

I have a friend who did a 24 hour bossing session and he's lost multiple levels and a few hundred mil in drops @Prismspecs , and he hasn't even complained, because he understands that these things happen. I think you feel entitled to something more when you're actually not entitled to anything more than any other player. Might want to suck it up and move on.
More? I'm entitled to what I worked for, just like any other player. This is a character issue thread so it's about my character, I think you need to move on because it doesn't seem like you're qualified to resolve this.
You're right I'm not qualified to resolve this at all, sorry for overstepping my boundaries. I am however, qualified as a forum user to share the information I've gathered with my outstanding observation skills. Okay, back up everyone. We fully understand what happened and how much this affects people. We've been trying to figure out the best way that we can refund players on top of the compensation. We're still discussing it, but please, don't go after one another. Everyone has a right to be upset, some have lost more than others. We're doing our best to right this issue and make it as fair as possible for everyone affected.
