Rules Question/Clarification: Interfering with a Shadower's Meso Explosion by Picking up Mesos

Sorry the title is kinda vague, but let me explain.

NOTE that I was in possession of ~mapowner the whole time.

Yesterday, while Bigfoot hunting, two people came into my map while I was dropping mesos for Meso Explosion. I was only a Chief Bandit at the time, so it's not like I was actively attacking. I was simply dropping mesos, and occasionally attacking a Jr. Wraith to ensure I keep map ownership. Regardless of my map ownership, they decided to stay and "watch" (so they say, since I was so low relative to the level of the average BF hunter). In addition, on a few occasions, one of the two people thought it would be fun to pick up my mesos that I was dropping for Meso Explosion. It's possible they didn't understand what Meso Explosion was (they were speaking broken English and a different language to each other), but they were both 4th job and hunting Bigfoots, so I'm not inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt, as they behavior looked experienced enough to indicate they would know what they were doing. Anyways, I digress. The situation was incredibly annoying, hence prompting me to ask:

Is that, in any way, a reportable case? I'm not making this thread with the intent of reporting anyone, but I am simply making it for some clarification and/or future reference, should it happen again. I could see it argued both ways, since someone "dropping" mesos is fair game, akin to dropping an equip and not being able to report someone to get it back if they steal it, but that's obviously a different situation.

I guess you should follow the usual rules, so explain to them why you are dropping the mesos. If they continue looting the mesos after you telling them not to it might be considered harrassment

 

I think if u are map owner and you ask them to cc and they don't that is a minor offense. Not sure about looting your explosion Mesos in specific.

 

I guess I didn't specify that I did explain to them on several occasions what I was doing. I just didn't want to risk getting even more long-winded than I already was

 

Looting is considered under the ksing rule, I would say that it could extend to looting your mesos that you are dropping for meso explosion. Just make sure you follow the ks report and substitute attacking /ksing language for looting.

 

And to add on to Sila's point, you may also wish to note that you should inform whoever is looting your meso to stop, because it's meant for Meso Explosion. If they act naive and don't know what ME is, explain to them. That'll help your case better in my opinion.
