It really depends on the rest of your gear and the attack of the spear. Generally the better your gear is the better a sky ski wins even with less att on it. Personally I calculated that with my gear (45 att clean) a perfect slow spear beats a perfect ski when clean but loses by a little bit on stoppers or apples. I still use a slow spear because I love seeing big numbers rather than doing smaller numbers and knowing in my head I'm doing 2% more DPS haha. I can give you the formula I use: (slow_spear_att + gear_att + pot) * 60.6 = (ski_att + gear_att + pot) * 64.5 So you can put a value in the slow_spear_att or the ski_att to find what att you need on the other to match the damage. 60.6 and 64.5 are how mnay attacks a minute you do with booster while earing a slow spear or a normal spear For example with my gear and an apple I calculated that a perfect faltizan loses to a 135 att ski like this: (152 + 45 + 100) * 60.6 = (134.04 + 45 + 100) * 64.5 If you factor in the fact that slow spears are way cheaper than skis, I made the decision to use slow spear for the entirety of my DK life If by some miracle I find myself some day with 22 att gloves, 20 att cape and 20 att shoes I might reconsider since it will make the ski stronger in comparison
