Hi guise! I'm new to the forums and MapleRoyals :] I heard about you guys via the book of faces from a page called We Miss Old Maple. I was checking out the site when I noticed you guys had a Mac client. Zomg. But I'm having issues getting the game to actually start. I followed the steps on the forum post explaining the use of Winery, and I followed all the steps and even did a second run-through to make sure I just wasn't missing anything. I'm assuming I only need the Mac client? Because the package contents seem to contain all Maple files. When I first booted up the client after the Winery steps, I had the little dot under the app on my dashboard saying that the app was in use/running. Nothing was happening so I force quit the program and then tried to reboot it. Now the icon just jumps and does nothing. Am I just overlooking something? Thanks for any help in advance!
    System Specs:
    OSx Yosemite 10.10
    MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011)
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
    Memory:1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB

Also, I do have my Mac boot camped so i can still run windows 7, but if I could get Maple to work on Mac, I honestly would have no other use for Bootcamp. But I guess if things don't workout with this Mac client I always have a fail safe ^.^

Welcome to the server! I personally can't help you with your problem; I never play on my Mac OS X partition so I have no clue (not to mention, I have Mavericks, not Yosemite). Nonetheless, I hope you have a great time here. Feel free to buddy me in-game if you want to chat! :)

You might still use Bootcamp, by the way: If you ever plan on doing Zakum runs here (which you will if you stay), you will want to go on Windows instead to prevent d/c's.

Thanks, Marty! So it seems there's still no escape from bootcamp ~f10 Though I shouldn't complain, it's saved me a couple times lol. I'll have to get started on the Windows download then! Thanks for the heads up with the Zakum d/c. Love your siggy gifs btw :3

You can use parallels or other vm software instead if you prefer. The rest of the game runs fine on the mac client though.

I use wineskin winery and it seems to work pretty well

Edit: nevermind, I guess I didn't read your whole post thoroughly enough
