Should I play or quit?

My shoutbox privileges got revoked. I got no message whatsoever, and I don't even know which rule I broke.
    Here's what happened:
Someone said the server was back up. Then I said to that person, "your mom's d**k was up last nite". I censored it because I thought maybe otherwise it would be too vulgar.

Now I'm not really a 'sensitive' person. So sometimes I say something without realizing that it could be seen as offensive. But I actually try very hard not to offend anyone. And if someone does get offended, I reflect on myself, and see what I did wrong. Then, I apologize, even if I think they are being overly sensitive, because I respect everyone, even if I might not see the world the same way as them. I've never had any drama with anyone since I was 13, and I'm now 21.

It's hard to apologize and make up with someone if you are banned though! Especially if they don't even let you know that you've offended them!
    So I have one question:
Is it worth it to play this game, or is it inevitable that I'm going to be permabanned after playing for a while with my personality?

Any help would be very welcome!

I haven't been the most active person ;)
And I did get banned one time already for something stupid, but I don't remember exactly how that went.

I'm the same way in that I speak my mind, but unlike you, I could not give the first fuck about the hyper sensitive little babies and their 'feelings'. My view is that instead of catering to their sensitivity, we need to expose them to whatever bothers them until they become desensitized to it.

Because of this, I just don't socialize with people (on this game) until they've expressed that they share similar ideologies. If you're planning on playing I'd simply go mute in all chat/SMegas and only speak on your filtered buddy list--the standards held for all chat/public speaking are different than your buddy list, you're allowed to say 'offensive' things on your BL but not publicly.

    No problemo mi amigo

Keep in mind that to my knowledge there is still the potential to get banned if what you say on your BL would constitute as genuine harassment. I think that the difference is in things like...let's say your comment, or a variation of the term 'my Nigerian'. If you say that on your BL I do not think that the staff would have an issue (private, willingly exposed to your presence), but if it is said in all chat or via SMega (public, unwillingly exposed to your presence) that is when the punishments come out, and over some very normal (real world) words/remarks/jokes. I think there's like 3-4 temp bans for 'hate speech' before you're permanently banned (verify this in the rules for yourself please, I could be wrong), so you have some wiggle room to play with. I 100% know it's not a one strike you're out type of rule tho
