So I know that scrolling is on the fritz, I just found some specific issues that the GMs may not be aware of yet. First off, scrolling does not work, I did some extensive testing, and all 30%s fail but don't break if used with Legendary Spirit. I did a large enough sample that it should be definitive. There are just a lot of bugs surrounding the legendary spirit skill, like I couldn't use 10%s in it, etc. Perhaps more importantly, I found a bug where I had 4 Dagger atk 10%s, I would use them all on a lvl 15 dagger (just testing) that I had equiped. I would lag a bit, so I would log off. I'd log back on, and 4 slots would be gone from the dagger, but Id still have the scrolls. 20 or so were used and none succeeded. But I do still have the Dagger Atk 10%s.
yes! same thing happened to my zhelm! i had 5 slots on my helm. passed 4/5 helm dex 60%'s a while ago. i wanted to finish the scrolling today. so i bought 5 more helm dex 60% and when i used the first one, nothing happened (thought i was lagging) then i did another one (and again, nothing happened) so i unequipped the NX hat and then used another one (it passed). then i saw that it only had two slots left! and yet i have 4 scrolls in my inv. so at this point i am not scrolling this helm anymore until i can get my slots back.
There was an issue with regular scrolls, not dark scrolls, chaos or clean slates. The issue was a visual bug that caused no scrolling effect or item updating to occur when a regular scroll failed. It however did not consume scrolls. Regular scrolls that succeeded worked fine. So if there was no change after using a scroll it means that scroll did fail, and did take the slot. All issues should be fixed now.
ok. the only follow up question i have is that did the NX item have something to do with it? because the first two times i used the scroll, nothing happened at all. and when i took the nx item off, it was completely normal, the animation happened, a scroll was depleted and a slot went down. it may have just been a coincidence that the first two scrolls did fail and the third one just happened to passed. but for some reason i feel like the nx item/bug caused the scroll to fail simply just because of the turnout i had with it.
Would an Admin mind checking out to see if there is still a scrolling issue with Legendary Spirit? I've now bombed 63 30%s in a row but none of them break my items.
