https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VpVCnSlrhdSEkV5HFOuLGWSlm7sQ1hXlemSEtaLGdF4/edit#gid=2349437 A scrolling calculator What it does: -Tells you which scrolls you should use for each slot -The average amount it will cost to succeed scrolls to that point -The recommended scroll to use for most cost efficiency *You can still find the best scrolling method for half finished items, just set the value of the item in the "Item Cost" Open to any feedback and possible improvements What should I add? 60% 70%? WS+30%? something else? special thanks to @cweiiiiiiiiii for helping
Nice work! 60% and 70% aren't necessary since this is about perfect items. WS + 30% may be relevant sometimes, so that would be a nice addition. Also a little tip on making sheets more expandable. If you want to refer to a cell like the price of an item, it's better to say $G$14 rather than G14. This takes the absolute position of the the cell. If you then want to expand the sheet to 10 slots, the formula will automatically be correct for those slots too.
thanks for the tip just confirming but, the formula for ws+30% would be ((ws+30%)*3.33)+(.35*item cost*3.33)+item cost .35*item cost comes from the odds of it blowing up on each 30% scroll do correct me if im wrong Edit: WS+30% added it encounters a problem when 2 options are equally valid, like ws+10% and ws+30% on average cost the same to upgrade, very rarely does this occur. to "fix" it simply change one of the 10/30% scroll values by .01 and it'll work again In reference to the 60/70% I was going to make a calculator that determined when it is best to stop 70%ing and start 60%ing, I always did this when scrolling magic attack shields, but manually
