I have a 163bm and it is really hard to get a ht pt as a se. Is it simply because my level is low? I have a feeling that these days many people need an strong attacker with se mule, not se for ht pt. And I think this is the reason it’s hard to find a ht pt with se. Am I right? What do you think? I’m thinking about making NL or another attacker. I think Se is useless in this game(many people have se mule). I think having a Se is meaningless at this point.
Relying on joining pub runs has always kind of sucked, I may be biased but I feel like most people just recruit from their guild / bl, and only rarely need to smega to fill spots. I'd focus on friending people you boss with, and joining a guild, and interacting with them. It's for sure slow in the beginning, but if you do this consistently you'll be able to just join in guild / buddy chat. Your other option is to try recruiting the pub runs; there's always alot more people looking to j> than r>. I'd still friend people you find this way though for the future.
Could be because of your low level, probly low range and mostly the parties you're trying to join. I got a guildies 17x BM with around 7k clean range that goes HT dialy with some parties around, so they do take BM into HT raids, also cwkpq needs a strong bowman as well to complete the room, people look for them to trio/duo krex, so they're not useless imo.
You are not useless as a BM, if you would like to keep playing it and getting into boss runs, consider leeching a CR/SED mule, then you will fill both SE and CR/SED slots and be very desired.
Even after your new NL is lvl163, you will still have a difficulty finding party probably due to reasons such as not meeting the damage range requirements. Like what @Donn1e shared above, bringing a CR mule/Sed mule will probably make you alot more desirable, since Quad~6 man HT runs for example you’d definitely either want a Paladin main / BM main in the party. If you really want your demand to soar? BM + BS. Spoiler There is quite a difficulty controlling these 2 simultaneously & effectively, probably only a handful of players in this server could do it every other run. So if you’re confident with your fingers, go for it. Last but not least, to what echo tsue said above, join a guild and start to look for buddies to form static parties or start recruiting instead of joining.
Hi. Im a lvl 195 BM. I think your difficulty in getting into a HT party stems from your low level. Most ht parties prioritise efficiency so they would probably want someone with high range. Dont feel discouraged though! I only started going to horntail at lvl 180. But I have never had any difficulty in getting accepted into Horntail Parties, even in pub runs. And no, I do not have any mules as I only joined the server for 3months. Start merching and doing your daily bosses like pap,zak,krex and hunt mini bosses for more nx so you can get mesos for better gear. Horntail is an end game boss so dont be discouraged if you cant get into a party at lvl 16x. Afterall 16x means you are still new to the bossing scene so dont give up
