I am not currently sure if this happens with everyone, but I found out that once I exit out MapleRoyals client, and start a new one, the processor shows multiple MapleRoyals clients running. If you continue to to exit and rejoin MapleRoyals, you will have numerous MapleRoyals clients running on your processor via ctrl+alt+del. Could any of you guys confirm this with me? I am currently running on Windows 8. Furthermore, my keyboard has been glitching on MapleRoyals, and my windows are getting buggy too after I installed MapleRoyals. I am guessing this problem is possibly caused by the "glitched" multiple MapleRoyals client running in the processor. Is there anything from Royals files that could potentially break my windows functionality? or could this be my personal issue? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you to all Royals Staff and Members for contributing to this issue. Sincerely, Hite.
that's an issue with my mapleroyals client as well. it was fine about two updates ago. now, when you close the client, the client hangs and eats processor for a while. haven't checked if it just takes 2+ mins or just stays like that. my solution was anytime i wanted to close a client, ctrl+shift+esc and end task it from there. when running multiple clients: ctrl+shift+esc, right click > bring to front [ see if that's the one you want to close]. if so, right click > end process if not, right click the other process > end process. pretty bad because it lags the crap out of the other client causing a disconnect
@foobaka Yeah bro, I do that all the time as well. But I mean it would be more convenient if we could just fix this issue.
For the mapleroyals clients running in the backrounds, end it but it will come back sometimes unfortunately. About the keyboard, if there is something wrong with it, repair or buy another one otherwise check for keyboard settings in game and in control panel. And what do you mean by : my windows are getting buggy?
When I log out from the game the MapleRoyals client closes correctly after maybe 30 seconds. Maybe it doesn't close correctly because you close the game and immediately try and open new ones? You can simply close them in task manager if they affect your computers performance, there is nothing in the MapleRoyals files that would break your computer in any way, the glitched keyboard and your operating system being glitchy because you installed MapleRoyals is a problem on your end. The only issue you have mentioned that would likely be caused by the client is the stuck processors in task manager, the client is soon reaching 10 years old so some problems are to be expected until we get a custom made one.
I play Royals using Parallels set up with Windows XP SP 3. The only client problem I notice is that when I close the client normally or close the client by ending the task from the Task Manager, the client's process will still be running. This takes up a significant amount of CPU. To close the process, you could open Task Mangaer while the client is open and right clicking on the task and selecting Go to Process. Then right click the process and click on End Process. But rather than that, I highly recommend installing VistaSwitcher. VistaSwitcher shows all your open tasks and when you right click a task name, you can click End Process from there. I believe the processes running in the background are causing your problem, but if the issue persists, let me know!
@Doge Thank you for your input in this issue, I over mentioned the bugginess, it was just the problem with the processor & keyboard, I am sure Royals is not to blame for any other problems. @Andreas I agree to your statement on how we have to understand the problem with 10 year made client. Hopefully a custom made will be made soon for the convenience! @Shiyui Thank you for your useful tip! I will surely look into VistaSwitcher. Thank you all who responded to this thread, all of you are kind
