Logging on this morning: "Boy I sure do miss inventory sort..." And then I come here to see what the SC is about. Wow! I thought this wouldn't get fixed until the new source.
I might have seen you mention it in the shoutbox recently and got the urge to look into the issue again.
@Matt any idea when Auto-sort will incorporate stacking/combining potions and USE inventory items? Or will this still be disabled?
Which one should do that? Gather items or Sort thru item type? How does one split the same potion on multiple slots anyway?
If you have potions or even pet food split before you gather items, they stay split. When you auto-sort them, they remain split as well...
It's probably better to fix whatever is causing them to split in the first place though. How is it caused? Withdrawing from storage, trading, etc?
Sometimes the way you purchase potions. Some come in stacks of 150, others in 100. If you pick up or loot potions as well, they arent always collected in stacks. If you use a certain amount, then restock, they dont always stack up either. It seems that potions are used from the stack closest to the top of the USE inventory.
