    Hi Everyone,

    There will be a server check today 13th July 2016 at 23:59 Server Time (GMT+1), lasting for approximately 20 minutes. The game will be inaccessible during this time.

    Changes during this Server Check:
    • Implementation of the 4 digit PIN system.
      • Note: Users will be prompted to create a 4 digit PIN upon first login, and will only be prompted for the PIN when logging in from different IP addresses thereon.
    The MapleRoyals Staff.

    If you notice any strange issues occurring since this server check please do not hesitate to create a thread in the support forum

    Is it possible to add this prompt to when someone tries to delete a character too? Curious.

    I mean, if somebody has already gotten into your account by using the Username, Password and PIN. I can't see how having a PIN for deleting a character will help at all, since it was required to log in.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard using VMware gives you a different IP address. What happens in that case?

    I use a Mac and therefore use Parallels rather than VMware, but with Parallels, using the "Shared Network" setting gives my virtual machine the same IP address as my Mac. However, since virtual machines have different MAC addresses from the host computer, with another setting, it's possible that the virtual machine will have a different IP address. If VMware has a setting equivalent to Parallels "Shared Network," VMware users with that setting shouldn't have to re-enter their PIN.

    You shouldn't be disconnecting after entering a PIN now that the SC is finished.

    err.. i tot it only prompt when i using different IP to log in? but it seems i hv to type the 4 digit everytime i log in

    Your IP address must be changing as it does only require the PIN to be entered when your IP address is different from what it was the last time you logged in. If you are using a proxy or VPN, odds are, your IP is changing each time.

    This might be slightly off topic but, with the use of this PIN code would it be easier for you to have an account link on the forums to show your NX, i know i have asked this before but i know i and probably some other people would like to know what their NX on the account is, (i am currently serving a 6month self ban) and i have voted everyday for 3months so far, but for all i know the NX might not even be going onto my account. Or is there any other way you could make it so that if somebody requested this information you would be able to make it accessible to them?
