Hi everyone, We understand the frustration that the recent lag is causing everyone, and we are trying our best to get things sorted out as quickly as we can. Therefore we are going to have some extensive diagnostics run on the server and also have it re-racked to see if it finds or solves any problems. This will take approximately 5 hours, so we have planned it to happen during off-peak hours. The server and website will be offline from: 09:00 GMT, Mon 24th Nov until 14:00 GMT, Mon 24th Nov Any updates regarding the downtime will be posted on our Facebook and Twitter pages if the website is offline. We apologise for the inconvenience, The MapleRoyals Staff.
The issues we've been having lately I want to honestly blame on bad RAM, but that's what I can say based off what I can see. I work in the server field (including cPanel), and if there's anything I can do to assist I will be glad to offer. (If I'm not working, of course). Best of luck guys!
LSN have said: "The RAM and SATA cables have been replaced and all the diagnostics tests check out as OK. If replacing the RAM doesn't help we may need to try replacing the server itself."
It's not even that laggy for me... And by the way, being a dick about it in SMEGAs won't help, people. Just saying.
Server is doing fine now, way better than the last few days. Have had small lagspikes, but nothing major and it didn't cause disconnections on my part. (Sneaking in a word about the alliance-tab *hint* *hint*)
