With the recent frequent server crashes, I would like to propose to have a scheduled weekly server maintenance. I do not know if this is already a protocol set, but I do think that server checks offer a better gaming experience for everyone, while the Staffs would be able to check if there are any bugs to be fixed -- just an hour a week. Thanks! Edit: Perhaps on a day before the peak days. (Avoid Weekends?)
There are already server checks every 3-4 days. Use ~uptime in game to see how long it's been since the last one.
We have been doing Server checks whenever the lag has gotten bad. It's pretty random and it's hard to give notice. We've also been trying to do it at different times of day if possible, to make it more fair to those who may keep missing out on their favourite FM spots because of some resets.
Well, do you know how did the GMS server check their server without resetting anything? Because if they could do it, I'm sure you guys can do it.
You are comparing a paid company with well a lot more staff and time, (still you are better) you really think server checks every now and then is a big problem? The new source will be stable enough to not need a SC every few days.
Oh please don't get me wrong. I am being hopeful. I don't think server check is a problem, I think server checks would help alleviate the recent lag problems. It's like a car -- you have sent it for oil change for your car to keep working properly. Everything needs maintenance. And how sure are you that the new source will be stable? What if it is not?

Already been said they are doing Server checks regularly. I am very sure it will be stable, what if the moon come crashing down, more likely than the server being bad.
