    MapleRoyals is safe to play but may be falsely flagged as malware by antivirus programs due to how private servers work. To prevent this, set an exception for the game in Windows Defender and any other antivirus software to ensure smooth gameplay without compromising your computer's security.

    1. Open Windows Security:

        • Process: Exclude a specific running process (advanced option).
    5. Select the Item to Exclude:
      • For File or Folder exclusions: Browse to the file or folder you want to exclude and select it.
      • For File type: Choose the type of file extension to exclude.
      • Once you select the file, folder, or type, it will be added to the exclusions list.
    6. Close Windows Security:

    1. เปิด Windows Security:

    If you're using Windows 11, you might encounter the error message: "An internal exception occurred (Address: 0x71cd9f5f)."

    This error is typically caused by the "Memory Integrity" feature being enabled by default in Windows 11.
    To resolve this, please follow the steps below to disable it.

    Steps to Disable Memory Integrity in Windows 11
    1. Open Windows Security:
      • Click the Start menu and type "Windows Security" in the search bar.
      • Select Windows Security from the search results to open the app.
    2. Go to Device Security:
      • In the Windows Security window, click on the Device Security tab on the left.
    3. Access Core Isolation Details:
      • Under the Core Isolation section, click on Core isolation details.
    4. Disable Memory Integrity:
      • In the Core Isolation settings, you’ll see the Memory Integrity option. If it's turned on, you’ll see the switch set to On.
      • Toggle the switch to Off to disable Memory Integrity.
    5. Restart Your Computer:
      • You’ll be prompted to restart your PC for the changes to take effect. Click Restart now.
    Note: this Windows 11 fix does not work for Mac users

    Main purpose of creating this thread
    - to include the basic steps of excluding Royals from Windows Defender/Security
    - include steps in multiple languages to assist non-English players as much as possible
    - include steps for the commonly known anti-virus, and highlight the anti-virus that cannot exempt Royals at all (not sure why?)
    - include a known issue of Themida that only occurs in Windows 11 (it isn't activated by default in Windows 10)
