Setting to enable/disable other players damage

    Hi!

    I don't know if this is the place and if this is realistic to add but would love an option in game settings for this!
    I think players like seeing their damage and it can help focus up if you see you suddenly drop in boss fight for example.

    Currently I can't tell what lines are mine and what are the lines from other players and each mob/boss has different resistances and armor so you can't base it off of a single damage test.
    I don't remember if this was a thing in GMS at any point but if adding a setting is possible I think this would be good to have.

    Does staff rely on damage lines in the image/video atm?

    It doesn't seem like something that should be affecting checking those reports, logs are easier to check if X player killed Z mob while map was owner by Y player, no?
    Can also see if items were looted in the map by a non owner player through the logs for more evidence.

    Not exactly what you want, but we have:
    ~setting criticals off

    To turn off other players' crit lines. If you don't see any crit lines for a bit it means you're not hitting. I use this in VL and it's pretty helpful.

    Wasn't aware of this thanks!

    Still possible to have a few players do non crits though no?
    I don't know much but isn't crit only innate on thief and archer?
    Other classes will only crit if they get SE and if not all damage lines will be normal anyways
