Ever since the coming of COVID-19/Newest Source (increase of NLC pot prices), many of my guildies/bl from SG/MY has been experiencing more lags/dc's. Server may be experiencing a higher player volume or new source could present extra "lag/dc bugs"... I'm not an expert on technical stuff so please shed some light on this situation. *note* my internet works fine on EVERYTHING ELSE, except for frequent dc's on Royals and ONLY Royals. Thanks GM sirs
This isn't really a feedback thread so I've moved it to Technical Help. Technically, New Source is over 3 years old and the latest update wouldn't change anything with how players are connecting. My thought would be an ISP issue and you could verify this by trying to connect to the game with a different ISP, such as hotspotting from a cellular device.
I was just about to post about this also. Can any SG players verify this issue as well? I dc about 6-8 times a day, today I dc-ed during krex as well. My provider is Starhub, but I heard that MyRepublic is facing issues as well? Interestingly, today's dc was a a bit special. I could see all my teammates' attacks and damages popping out just fine, but for some reason I could not get out of dark sight (I'm a shadower), and after 10 seconds I got sent back to the login page
im using starhub too and i lag dc everyday at random times. just like the guy above^, i see smegas and people's chat just fine, but i can't see mine nor buff and get sent to login page after few seconds. Has been happening for a week plus now. edit: may I also add everything else is working fine except Royals. My brother who is playing another game has no issues whatsoever.
sounds like starhub getting heavy packet losses my side for the past few weeks singtel for home (2Gbps is a lie ) : occasional 3-5 second lag spikes (every 10mins ish?) and the occasional SGUnited dc phone tethering M1 sim only plan : i have trusted zak runs, ht runs, krex runs, pap runs, etc. for the past few months and i have never seen a single dc though it gets abit laggy at times (2006 internet feels) but heck its better than losing the run (sudden phone call) whelp gg said too soon
The sudden phone call is what gets me every time HAHA I wish there was a way to turn of phone calls while keeping my mobile data active lmao
turn on the do not disturb mode just make sure you don't forget it when it counts cuz i actually forget alot lelelelelelel
