    Hey Guys!

I'm trying to determine which class I want to main and have narrowed it down to either a shadower or DrK. My biggest concern is which of the two is more desired for end game and bossing parties?

    Thanks!

Drk has hb, and so can be helpful to the party in that aspect. Other than that, both contribute damage to the party, so I don't think people make too much distinction when recruiting. One thing to consider is how much base int you want to lvl with -- drk needs very little. Shad will need a little more (use a calculator for exact value), which will add some apr cost eventually. However, also remember that shad has meso guard, which reduces damage by 50%, so you can get by with lower hp amounts. I think both are good choices for a first main.

Two of my favorite classes due to them being so unique! Both are fun to play. Unlike many classes where you can hold down a button and only half watch the game, that’s not the case with darks and shads. 1- Darks have to stay in zerk (below 50%hp) so they require proper timing, knowledge, skill to stay alive and have good damage output. Now because of that you will want to go wash. It’s not a must, but very helpful. warriors are also the easiest and cheapest to hp wash;). 2- shadows have ALOT of skills that hit hard, but Are not spammable. So you will have to chain different skills for best output. It takes a lot of practice to utilize a shadower properly. They are the most fun class imo, but it requires a lot of your concentration. They also are pretty exspensive to fund. Although they don’t need as much hp washing as NL’s, they share the same formula. So it will be a bit pricey. BTW, both are super fun to train with

    just as @tannerama said:

Dark knights need a lot of focus in order to stay in zerk mode. HP washing is convenient for this reason.

they hit super hard, but with a somewhat slower attacking speed.

one of the classes with the most amazing flashy skills.

    super forward thinking class.

they can help parties with Hyper Body. this comes in handy in bossing situations. although, keep in mind most high level players at the moment are already built with washed HP in order to not rely on Hyper Body. but still, the more, the better :~)

Shadowers need a lot of focus too in order to know what skills are the best to use depending the situation, and maximize DPS.

unlike warriors, they are "ninjas", so they move around a lot with super fast attacks. they have a LOT of avoidability and many skills to use.

they have Haste and Smokescreen. Smokescreen is amazing because if timed good, it can maximize you and your allies' DPS, while being a completely safe zone to prevent you or anyone from dying.

they have Meso Guard, which acts similar to Magic Guard for magicians. it reduces the damage you take by -50%, so HP washing is not that much of a burden. they can do fine without washing too.

sadly, 2nd job is the slowest class to level up, since they don't have any AoE skill up until 3rd job. BUT the tradeoff for this is Meso Explosion which is ridiculously overpowered when you learn how to use it, and if you have the money for it, it could rocket launch you from lv. 70 onwards in a breeze.

very expensive class indeed... but very fun too.

both classes are unique, fun, useful and enjoyable for both training and bossing. think of it as a rigorous warrior with the soul of a dragon vs. a swift and deadly ninja :~)
