Hello! So yesterday I did my first CWK run with some friends as a Shad (Ive done it before as a NL and Sair), but they said i should do melee's on the bottom left side of the map. I imagined the most efficient combo is BomStep>BoThieves, but it felt like sh** all the time. Is it right? I feel i would be 10x more efficient hitting the Mage with DS>Assa combo or even DS>BStep>Assas. Or maybe i just did the wrong combo on the melees... Guess ill know that sooner than later. Hold left arrow key while you're doing the Macro (Bstep+BoT). Your character moves while you're performing the combo, allowing you to constantly reposition while attacking even after getting KB'd. Shadower is best placed on bottom since Bstep+BoT (on 3 targets) will outperform the damage of Ass+Bstep but Shads can go Mage if there's already sufficient members bottom (i.e. two warriors).
Keep in mind that shadowers aren't the best multi-target class (hero's and dk's will heavily outperform in cwk on the bottom), but they do pretty decently single target. In terms of shadower dps: boomstep + bot is better dps at the bottom because you are hitting 3 targets, but for this pq, most of the time the shadower is on the mage because their single target dps is decent when compared to other classes (letting a hero or drk focus on the bottom would be far better in terms of multi target dps). For me, personally, I would focus on attacking the mage unless help is needed on the bottom (e.g there's only 1 person doing bottom but 4 ppl doing top), then I would go on the bottom (so what you will focus will change depending on what party you are running with).
I lack of the time to explain in detail, but it higlhly depends on how many ppl running and jobs fundings etc, but, if the bottom drk/hero is not that strong(or theres none,wich hey, could happen idk) theres 2 strong ranged atackers enoygh to take care mage and pirate by themselfs pretty quickly choose bottom ,and in my experience a shad(ass-bstep)+ bucc bottom are strong asf...so shads are pretty versatile in cwkpq, depending on party composition like i said.... Bottom warr strong or theres 2 of them?=go mage ass+bstep Bottom warr weak? = Bottom bstep+BoT Bottom warr weak+ ranged strong+ bucc active? Bottom ass+ bstep and bucc bottom aswell demo+barrage+ds
Bstep+bot macro on "V" then drop meso at corner easily bomb three targets, but you need to push them to right side, because body touch knock back always hit you to right. i use stoppers+meso bomb white most warriors bottom. (make sure there's warrior with you to help pushing)
