Requirements A Level 30 or lower character. A Magician with Lv17 or higher Teleport. A Thief with Dark Sight. Decent attackers for Ergoth (He's a bit harder than Headless Horseman). One ranged character. Party Leader has to be a Junior. Entry Stage – Protector Rock Hit the rocks to get Protector’s Rock. Wear the Protector’s Rock at all times in Guild PQ! Stage 1 – Combination Stage You have to find 3 combinations of statues. Three people have to work together to see the combination, which is shown with flashing of statues. Each person takes a part: Left, middle and right. This has to be done three times; once with 4 statues as combination, once with 5 and once with 6. When you fail, you have to start over. Hit the right statues in the respective order to succeed the combination and move on to the next one. Tip: Let each person shout out when a statue flashed, as well as the number of it. So the first statue flashes and player A says "1", then player B on the other side sees one flashing and says "2" and so on. Works better on Skype/TS. GP Reward: 15 GP Stage 2 – Spears of Longinus First, kill the Muscle Stones for a Key. Use the Key to enter the Room of Faith with a Thief with Dark Sight and a Magician with Teleport. The Mage teleports across the rubble to get a key, which the Thief uses to open the door at the end of the walk with the Lv200 rocks (using Dark Sight). The Thief collects the first spear. Do the 3 Jump Quests in the Room of Glory. Take the 4 Spears to the Room of Justice. The left JQs require Haste, the rightmost requires Teleport. The other JQ is a combination JQ (like the Ludi PQ one); the combination is 2 1 5 2 2 1 2. Use Pick-up and Jump together to pick up a Spear. Activate the Altars by dropping the Spears. GP Reward: 25 GP Stage 3 – Mastermind Collect all four Items from the monsters and the boxes in the rooms. Of each item there are four; don’t pick them up, since only you can drop and pick them up again. Let the Party Leader pick up everything. The Party Leader has to find the right combination. You have 7 tries; the NPC tells you which items are correct, in the combination (but not on the right spot) or not in the combination at all. This is very similar to the game Mastermind, thus the name. Tip: If you're having trouble, you can use this flash game to practice. Cheat: Clicking End Chat will prevent the monsters from spawning! GP Reward: 25 GP Stage 4 – Skeleton Do the 2 Jumping puzzles Let the Level 30 or lower character go in the respective room and kill the monsters to aquire the item. Kill the top Gargoyles using either an Arch Mage or Haste/Teleport. Drop the items in the right order on the Skeleton: Shoes > Bottom > Top > Hat. GP Reward: 30 GP Stage 5 – Sacrifice One person (preferably the Level 30 or lower) has to drop his/her Earrings in the designated spot, so he/she is sacrificed. People who can fight Ergoth can enter the grand entrance; others may use one of the broken mouse holes in one of the poles on the wall to enter and be teleported to a safe platform. Stage 6 – Ergoth’s Throne To summon Ergoth, hit the crystal. It’s recommended to kill the Statues before Ergoth himself, especially the Knight Statues; they Despell and use 1/1s. Shadowers are highly recommended to drop ~600K mesos (5K Mesos per bag) and use Meso Explosion to instantly kill the Knight Statue A and Ergoth. Monsters GP Reward: Depends on the total time it took to complete the Guild Quest. Bonus Stage - Prizes Advanced Combo Attack 30 Paralyze 30 Elquines 30 Chain Lightning 30 Ifrit 30 Taunt 30 Ninja Ambush 30 Ninja Storm 30 Assassinate 30 Sharp Eyes 30 Hurricane 20 Frostprey 30 Scrolls Used this website for some extra info.
Synergy has done multiple runs on different occasions. And as they continued to fix GPQ sometimes our runs would record. Edit: Stage 1 requires three people. One person has to watch the middle. Great guide, only some bits need a bit more filling. Also don't forget to credit if you got your information from another website.
(Thanks to @Michael for showing / teaching me this) http://www.smart-kit.com/s5102/mastermind-logic-game/ Is a good tool to help you get better at the mastermind stage. Easy mode is the closest to the GPQ stage, except you get one extra attempt in the flash game.
I'll add that. But yeah, it's basically the game Mastermind, so playing that would help you improve. That game also allows for custom settings, so 7 rounds / 4 colours.
