Just a poll to see how many people would agree that that the EXP for LPQ should be increased to give people more of a reason to LPQ instead of CPQ. In my opinion LPQ is a lot more fun and brings back a lot of nostalgia for me and most others. I can confirm that LPQ works 100% now. It's a shame that it is so hard to get a party together to do it since a lot of people seem to be addicted to CPQ.

At the moment LPQ is only better than CPQ if you have a good party that knows what they are doing. Even then, the EXP difference is very slim. Therefore I can see why CPQ is currently the better option since getting a party is so much easier.

The EXP would likely be increased by about 50% if this was to go ahead.

There is no reason to boost the LPQ EXP. In GMS, CPQ was the more popular PQ was it not? Like many parts of the game, the fact that LPQ is not the popular PQ is just another consequence.

Well, even if something is "just another consequence", it doesn't mean that it's right, and that we have to put up with it.

Many of Nexon's actions have resulted in the nullification and retirement of previous game content that people attach value towards, and that is, too, just another consequence. Whenever something OP was released, like Chimney for instance, it wiped out all previous training spots for that level range. Should we simply leave it like that since it is "just a consequence" of implementing Chimney?

So, since the staff here have the power now to effect change so long as it is reasonable and justified, there isn't any reason not to do so. Spawns for nostalgic training spots were increased as well to make them more viable, and this is honestly no different from it.

I would greatly welcome the diversity of more people LPQing!

I avoided CPQ because the way it is carried out is intolerable to me. It isn't even fun, as it is just "trading wins" rather than playing competitively, like it was intended to be played.

I would love to see motivation for people to do LPQ. It's actually fun!

I see promise in this. I considered (and still do consider) LPQ to be the most fun PQ in the game. It offers a variety in your gameplay, and even as Level 150 player, I find joy in doing LPQ, even though there's no gain for me (unless Broken Glasses work..? I don't know).

Right now, I can't do LPQ on my low-level accounts (e.g. my spearman), simply because it is deemed impossible to find a party.

And, as Kerners pointed out correctly, unlike gMS, the staff here has to deal with a small and managable community, and can alter the gameplay to achieve certain goals more efficiently, for example the nostalgic feeling of MapleStory or an overall balanced spectrum of the PQs, which currently isn't at hand. Right now, CPQ is simply better for leveling, and I would do LPQ even if it is slower, but it's close to impossible to find a decent party, just for the fun of it. Increasing the EXP would make LPQ more attractive for many players, so that players will, first of all, choose LPQ over CPQ, and will be willing to learn the ways of LPQ and how to do LPQ efficiently, which currently simply isn't the case.

Guess you can figure I support a change of LPQ concerning the EXP obtained.

This was how I saw CPQ when I first learned of what you had to do during the party quest. It was a competitive team on team game play with strategic elements, to say the least.

Now CPQ seems to be a compulsory way for some to leech from level 30 onwards (or what ever the CPQ minimum required level is). I often see many people using super megaphones to invite people for CPQ with "free wins". In my mind, which many will disagree, leeching destroys the fundamental gameplay, even discourages party play as the leecher usually just sits there and get EXP, while party play, like LPQ encourages some player to player interaction when gathering the tickets, fighting bosses etc.

To encourage LPQ to be like CPQ as a way for many to get a lot of EXP will not enhance unique Maplestory gameplay in my opinion. I used to remember, back in the days that after each KPQ or LPQ I would be excited to receive an unknown prize. It has been a while since I have had a full LPQ run and I cannot remember all the prizes I got from it.

I think LPQ should emphasise the prize that is given out at the end rather than the EXP gained, to encourage an alternative motivation to do any party quest. I would prefer unique prize(s) to be given out, diverse and varying in quality, albeit maybe untradeable.

When I started maple orbis barely came out and when I hit lvl 35 they had added lpq and that pq was why I loved party quests finding tracks and clicking to get in I would rather lpq then cpq but the party finding is hard I believe adding more exp will help this but another favorite was the bonus stage getting capes and such and even scrolls at the end I am one for improvement even if its not nostalgic because it will hopefully move cpq to lpq

I vote yes on this too. LPQ definitely brings back the most nostalgia. When I played back in the day CPQ didn't even exist. I'm sure many players are in the same boat. I've ran into some people who don't even know where LPQ is! In terms of leveling..cpq may be faster..but as a party quest LPQ shines.

When I started playing maple, ludi pq was THE pq everyone wanted to do, so many good memories. So of course I've voted yes, as I don't think cpq is for me and another fun alternative would be greatly appreciated. :)

I think the prizes for LPQ should be buffed. Like certain rare scrolls could maybe be obtained there. CPQ will be your main source of EXP, but LPQ will allow you to figure out whether you would like to make mesos, or whether you want to level.

I say yes. I hate that certain PQs render other PQs useless. And as far as Royals goes,
LPQ > CPQ anyway, IMO. The reason I say that is because CPQ isn't very fun without masses of competition. Meanwhile, LPQ still manages to retain it's original charm.

I was just talking with my guildies about this. We concluded that it was a great idea to increase the exp given in LPQ and possibly other PQs as well.

Increasint the EXP Is one way to make LPQ more popular.
But what about making it easier to get to? like CPQ when u can get there from many places

But even Nexon realized that it's getting to underrated that they added a reward for finishing the PQ after 35 times (Glasses with 1 stat from all)
which is obv cannot be done here due to the x4 exp
So many something like this? or make the rewards in the end a bit more usefull

yes! CPQ ruins the game. all it is is just training with win/loss exp. no prizes, stretegy, bosses, variation, etc. It's just a mass leveling machine, which means that all the lvl 31-50 training spots become obsolete. If I had it my way, I would get rid of CPQ and increase the exp of LPQ. because this server is about nostalgia, right?

Doesn't take long to get to LPQ since no boat rides. o.o
    It's really quick actually.

Also, maybe add some incentive to OPQ? Not sure if the EXP is good atm. Can anyone comment on this?

Absolutely yes. LPQ is more nostalgic than CPQ.

I have done several LPQ on Royals (before fixes) and the exp was pretty good. CPQ slows down around level 46 and I feel that bringing LPQ back would help break the monotony of CPQ training. By boosting the exp, an experienced party can finish the PQ in under 10-15 minutes and gain an equal amount or more EXP, create new friendships, and players can possibly earn the coveted broken glasses.
