I have a level 56 Spearman and want to play late game as a DK, but I've had no INT gear for all those levels and have been missing MP for HP washing. Should I make a new character and use funding from my current character (a few hundred mil) for int gear and such? Or should I just get it for my current character?

Just get some INT equips and add some base INT to your existing character and you'll be fine.

Plenty of DKs started washing late and managed 18k. I say just get basic int equips now.

for a DrK to hit 19k by level 150, you'll need to wash 9k worth of HP or about 173 washes.

One wash costs 4 mp so you'll need 693 spare MP to convert.

If you were to pick up a zhelm (15 int) scrolled heart wand (~9 int, from king slime event), 14 int bathrobe (1 10% and 9 100%s, should be ~100m) dep star (5 int), 8 int cape (60% scrolls are like 2-3m lol) that's 51 int. you have 4 base so 55. Add 25 base over the next 5 levels, that's 80 int total at lv 61.

That's (8 mp per level * 89 levels = ) 712 spare MP to wash with. Easily still hits max HP by 150. You could technically get away with less than this - you pick up natural washes at each job advancement that I didn't account for, I ignored 5 levels while you're adding base that you might have those equips (56-61) and I used a high number for the amount of washes you need to do, and a low number for your expected HP without washing.

TL; DR no need to start over.

I started at level 125 lol. I Reset ~80 points into int and got about 40 int in equips. Wasn't the best play I'll admit, but I got to where I needed to be.

If you meet some nice frens, ask them to lend their Int equips. It'll be a rough road ahead since you don't have the funds to properly get Int equips so if you don't find grinding back up to 5x that difficult, I'd restart if I were you.
