I've got a level 48 bandit and i just started maybe a week and a half ago. but i wasn't paying attention to weapons and requirements so i kept adding dex for some reason and i have fuckin 80 dex rn lol. the dumb part is i've always been using maple weapons cause i just had strong ones. i also have like a 16 luk robe cause i was messing around scrolling one. idk how far i'll get in terms of end game dagger but i'm already at 80 base dex and i dont have any dex equips. i have like 70m in mesos on me and i think my robe is worth a bit as well as my maple wagner but i'm not really rich. should i just restart and take like another week and a half to get to this level again for better base dex and therefore better damage?
you can if you want. i dont know the requirements for end game equips, but i think you have more than enough even if you buy a zhelm and dep star... my suggestion is make a new character. fuck bandits.
if i make a new one it'll be a bandit again i like bandits lmao. but uh i have a mac and i hear that mac's can't handle zak runs so i think that means i can't get a zhelm?
I would restart if I were you because getting back to that level isn't that hard and 80 base Dex is a lot especially for your level. However, end game Shadowers do have that kind of base Dex because they also need Str for a Dragon Khanjar. You'll be fine if you don't want to restart, but you'll have an easier time from 48-70.
If it's too much of a hassle for you to restart then you shouldn't. Like @Plenty said, you would probably end up with that amount of dex. If it were up to me though, I wouldn't restart. I was so lazy to remake a new lvl 10 Character and ended up using 10 ap resets to get to base dex for my brawler
I'm a 133 shadower and I currently have 49/108/4/534 as my base stats. With my half decent equips, I only have a couple points of extra stats in each, so if you want you're perfectly fine staying how you are. Your projected training: 45-51: LPQ Or grinding -- Effected by your damage. But minimally- 51-71: LMPQ -- Depends on your party and what rooms you're running -- 71-120: Bombing BF, HH, Gobies, and Himes. -- Completely irrelevant. You're just bombing crap all day. -- Once you reach around 80, you would have been at that dex anyways, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Your time to lvl 70 may feel awfully slow though with that much base dex. However, I doubt the extra base dex will hinder you more than 'the week and a half' you say you would need to get back to your current level so there's no need to restart
