Dear Mapleroyals Community, I am writing to express my deepest apologies for my unintentional involvement in vote abuse on Mapleroyals. I recently became aware of the severe impact this behavior can have on the community, and I am truly sorry for any harm or disruption my actions may have caused. I joined Mapleroyals in February 2020 with the sole intention of enjoying the game and being part of this vibrant community. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the negative consequences associated with vote abuse. As a result, I unintentionally contributed to an activity that undermines the integrity of the game and diminishes the experience for others. I want to emphasize that my actions were never intended to harm the community or compromise the fair and enjoyable environment that Mapleroyals strives to maintain. I deeply regret my lack of understanding and the impact it may have had on the server's integrity. To rectify this situation, I have taken immediate steps to educate myself about the consequences of vote abuse and have ceased any such activities. I understand the importance of upholding the values of fairness in the Mapleroyals community, and I am committed to being a responsible and respectful member moving forward. I sincerely apologize to the Mapleroyals staff, players, and everyone affected by my actions. I recognize the significance of maintaining a positive and ethical gaming environment, and I am fully committed to contributing positively to the community going forward if im graced by your forgiveness and allowed back into the community. Thank you for your understanding, and I appreciate any guidance or support you may provide as I strive to learn from this experience and become a better returning member of the Mapleroyals community. Sincerely, MashiroOkami, SinTeddy, ShyLilly Apologies to @Dong , @Bacon , and @Kenny for my ban appeals and my unsavory wording and disrespectfulness I showed during my appeals.
From what I've experienced (as your guildie) - You are truly a great guy. You are helpful, you are funny, you really enjoy helping other guildies and making sure everybody is having a great time. I can personally say that you helped me a lot during my ellin's prequests, and you partied with me for a long time every day so I can complete each mission with ease, and with a friend I was heartbroken knowing that your lack of information caused you this, and I still hope that you somehow come back to us, and somehow get unbanned. I vouch for you as a really nice player, an awesome guildie, and an overall great friend <3
Hello dear Guildie and friend Why are you such a baka! You're tearing me apart and it saddens me that I wasn't aware of your doings. You were always there for me when I need help bossing and I truly had a great time maple-ing with you. I sincerely hope the Mapleroyal staff will give you a reconsideration and you are able move forward with whatever decision they make. Sincerely WindforceJW
I met this fellow Mapler when I first started selling Goby Leech. He didn’t mind that all my equips were Damn near NPC-worthy & not to mention I was probably leveling him at a speed of 2miles/hour..Still, he insisted on paying me at rates that normally only 25ATT+ BWG/22ATT Smelly Christmas Sock junkies would charge. In all seriousness, we NEED more players like him especially if we want to see the server continuously thrive. Once upon a time I was a new player too and players like MY GUY over here can be the reasons that many new players continue the game because they’re not being excluded. This leads me to believe that he’s sincere with his apology and never had intentions of actually exploiting the game. -MrSiFut

I have 0 complaints about this character. He has been apart of my guild (MysticWings) since the start. He has been nothing but helpful, and kind. We need to keep players like this! He has gone above and beyond, by selling me leech, and even letting me trade a WS for leech one time.
Let me start by saying I don't write too much on forums but this particular fellow needs to be heard... SinTeddy has been such a helpful friend to me coming back to royals. In 3-4 months of knowing him, he has lent me int gears to progress on my night lord washing journey. Those gears were equivalent to being roughly 1-2bil worth of items. Now, I can't say the same thing for 90% of the people I end up meeting in any game being that generous, kind-hearted, and selfless in a short span of meeting someone online. To put others before yourself shows true quality in character and I feel like those words highlight some of his characteristics of who he is in the real world as well. It is saddening to see a friend who has nothing but love to give out to the royal community get permanently banned. I hope his perma-ban will be reconsidered to at least being a temp-ban and let him reflect on his actions. hang in there bro...!
i should have added in that im not looking to get these accounts back i am fine with starting over with nothing. I mostly want to be back with my friends and guild to play the game.
I think it's important to remember that for the GMs, moving on this verdict would have far-reaching implications with the precedent it sets. Namely, Player intent can have an impact on the severity of the punishment Player reputation can have an impact on the severity of the punishment Player remorse can have an impact on the severity of the punishment If any of the above are true, it suddenly becomes much harder to resolve all appeals going forward. That being said, I do wish there was some kind of safety net to alert or prevent players from vote abuse when it's still minor, because it seems like a lot of well-meaning players fall into this trap from either carelessness or language barrier/misunderstanding.
