After doing a search, I found that this bug was already brought up before. But it still hasn't been fixed. As it was mentioned before, snipe is supposed to do 200k. It usually shows 19X,XXX damage. But after a quick test it only does 100k exactly every time.
This bug has already been fixed to make the max 199,999. The code to do this hasn't changed in awhile and it was reported as fixed for several months now, so I'm pretty sure it is okay.
@Gi Skill level is only at Lvl 1. But the only thing that changes when you level snipe is it's cool down time. @Matt At the moment, I'm trying to find a headless horseman to get a screenshot for you. But currently, Snipe shows around 200k damage above the monster. Although after ~bosshp-ing it, it reveals that you only do 100k damage exactly.
So you've seen the way this is handled in the source, that's nice. Skilllevel does matter here, not saying this is right or wrong, but it does. So please, everyone, when reporting be as precise as possible and give as much details as you can. Based on that, your hits are between 95k and 105k.
@Gi I'm only using the information that is available from the Skill tables of version 0.62. Snipe has always been known to do 200k damage from Lvl 1 in version 0.62.
2 examples of Snipe (lv 2 at the time of the screenshots) dealing 100~109k damage. Correct damage should be 200k.
