Not Bug Snowman event present bug

Hi,

I have been inside snowman fight for 3 runs already without receiving anything. I made sure i attacked every single stage of the snowman, i spammed attack so definitely more than 20, 30 hits. And I had loads of free space in my inventory.

Please help

 

Do you have a present in your inventory?
Skills don't do any damage only basic attacks work.

 

thanks that worked. I didnt know about the basic attack thing. i used my lucky seven the whole way.
the instruction could have been clearer though for newbies like me ): so i wasted half an hour and 300 snow for nothing.
