I think it looks incredibly useful and for me it's a must buy, I think I've already decided I want one. I don't much care if people think I look like a fool if i can get on the go directions when riding my scooter or just walking somewhere, google anything I want, and all that other useful crap. The voice recognititon technology seems to be leagues ahead of siri as well which is a relief. What does everyone else think about it? It's got me pretty excited. Hopefully enough people will join G+ when it gets released so the social networking side of it works well too.
I really can't see something like Google Glass taking off for a few more years. Needs more work into the technology I reckon. Price will be sky high also. Maybe I'm just anti-google, idk.
I'd have to agree, I can't see it going mainstream very easily. Personally I think if Google worked with Facebook and/or Twitter (while I'm not a fan of these websites myself), and implemented them into Glass, it would be astronomically successful. On the price side though, atm it's $1500 while people are getting first glances and testing, developing etc., but word around the internet is it will most likely be in the region of £200-400, which, compared to similar levels of technology at the moment, seems not TOO steep, but obviously will still cut into my bank account severely...
