    Does anyone know in particular?

    I remember quite a while ago, the first servers were coded in C++; but it could be different now, I think Extalia or Moongra is/was in Java. I'm just curious because I'm interested in becoming a developer; but I don't want to be shot down on the first application, I also want to get more active in the community before doing so..

    I'm NoHax by the way :)

    Oh wow. I didn't realize they were coded in Java. I remembered using one that was run on C++. It was a version 5X server. I am not sure which to be exact.
