Hey there! About a month ago, I managed to get my I/L mage to 120 and started selling leech. The money is great, but not many people want leech in Ulu1 or Ulu2 which has the best money gain from NPCing, Most of them are looking for Petri leech. The probem is that not only are the drops not nearly as good as Ulus but also I 2hko them, which means I only make 45m per leech and have to wait like 2 hours to npc, something that I used to do every 30 minutes at Ulus. Im looking to get strong enough to ohko Petris so I can charge 65m per leech and finally be able to make myself a nice Shadower So far I have: Hat: 21 matt Weapon: 159 matt Face accesory: 6 matt Pendant: 5 matt Cape: 13 matt Glove: 13 matt Bathrobe: 19 matt Shield: 23 matt Earring: 16 matt Blizzard: MAXED Maple Warrior: 10 LVL: 150 What should I improve next to be able to ohko petrifighters at, lets say, lvl 160? Thanks for the help
Definitely try to get in a ht run for an egged pendant. Ask friends who might be willing to take you, etc. Other than that, I don't know since I don't main mages. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.
I think you should invest in your earring and Mw20 :d As i see, you have a really good equip o_o Oh i forgot, and a new pair of shoes is good for you
I would get a mw20 first then a 180+ tma wand. Earrings and gloves next as HTP can get kind of pricey (unless you have friends that will bring you along for free or cheaper).
RIP Community HT runs. #bringbackraccoonsquad Hat: 21 matt Try to scroll a Zhelm to 30 int Weapon: 159 matt It's going to suck upgrading your Ele wand 7 because they're apparently very rare and the main stat is LUK but it will give you a massive boost if you can manage a 180 TMA+ Face accesory: 6 matt 6 int Maple Leaf I assume? That's probably the best you'll do unless you gach a 7+ int one or chaos it. Pendant: 5 matt HTP VIP Service is ~800m. You receive all HTPs dropped and the egg used to scroll it. HT is may be a challenge due to graphical issues. Surviving is tricky but if you follow instructions you should survive to the end assuming you don't DC. An average HTP is 7 int and a godly one is 13. The egg is exchanged for a special scroll only for HTP. You can only exchange one egg per character which means if you use the egg scroll on your HTP, it is unwise to reloot another one. http://bbb.hidden-street.net/items/scroll-for-accessory/dragon-stone Cape: 13 matt Try for 17 matt+ Glove: 13 matt If you manage to get a Zhelm + HTP, you could obtain enough LUK to equip Lv. 35 magician gloves: Dark Noel. They drop from Leprechauns which are afk farmed by Mages/Archers with their summons. They can reach 8 int clean 5 slots and they cost around 20m. You could try 30ing them. I landed 2 30s on a 8 int clean Dark Noel and now it's 20 TMA 2 slots (14 int / 6 m.att). Bathrobe: 19 matt I don't know if it will be cost efficient to upgrade your bathrobe to a 20+ int. You could scrolling Lv 23 Magician overalls. I believe they reach 9 INT max and you can wear them if you obtain a Zhelm/HTP. The White Doros Robe (M) is dropped by Jr. Wraiths and they are somewhat common. You could try scrolling them for raw TMA or buy a pre-scrolled one which should be cheaper than a Bathrobe of equal INT because they are highly sought after for HP washing. Shield: 23 matt Shields are expensive because many people want them to HP wash. Lv 63 Maple Magician Shields can reach 8 INT and drop from Anniversary cakes but they are 500m each. There aren't any easy options. It will be expensive. Earring: 16 matt I think 30% earring int are 5 M.att 3 int. You could try 3oing 2 M.att+ leaf earrings. http://global.hidden-street.net/eq/earring/fallen-leaf-earrings Blizzard: MAXED Maple Warrior: 10 LVL: 150 MW is ~1.5B and has a 70% of passing. It's a gamble. At Lv. 150 you have roughly (150x5=750INT). Going from MW10 to MW20 is a 5% increase which is (.05*750INT=38INT). Basically you pay 1.5B for a 70% chance of obtaining 38 more INT. Note: These are just my rough thoughts on where you should look towards upgrading your items.
What's your current magic? I think you need around 1250-1300 to 100% 1hit petris. (might be slightly off here, but If I remember correctly I started 1hitting most of them around 1230 magic) If you calculate how much you are short you can decide which items are worth getting first.
A lot of people underestimate the usefulness of TMA pots, such as the NLC wizard elixirs or Energizer drinks. These are a cheap, sustained +20/30 TMA boost. NLC pots last 8 minutes and cost maybe 4m to buy 100 of them. Energizers are around 3m each, last I checked. You can use these to help you achieve that 1-shot range while leeching, and then use that leech money to buy the equipment you need.
There's no reason to use the NLC Wizard Elixir when they have a buff called Meditation which provides 20 M.att.
Hello hello! I main a bishop, but I have several IL AM friends, so I might be able to help you a bit! Assuming 1000 int, you'll need 1285 magic to 100% 1 hit petris. The amount of int you have has only a slight effect on damage calculations, so you want to focus on your magic first and foremost. At level 150, you'll have 768 int if you're lukless. Upgrading to MW 20 gives you 38 int that, as @VitaLemonade said, costs 1.5b with a 70% chance to pass. MW 20 is one of the costliest upgrades you can do, but it's the most significant increase to your magic. I'd start saving for MW 20 first before buying other gear. You should reloot Zhelms and keep trying to pass two or three 30s and finish scrolling with 60s. Your goal should be 30 int. This gives you 9 more magic. Rather than a money investment, this is more of a time investment. It'll take a while to pass enough scrolls to get to 30 int, but this is one of your cheaper upgrades. Keep running Zak and bring scrolls with you to the run so when you boom a Zhelm, you can loot and scroll another. You may have to buy a Zhelm if friends won't take you on runs. If you have an HS mule you can bring, it may be viable to go on randoms' runs with both your HS mule and IL AM, exchanging your HS mule's HS for your IL AM to loot Zhelms. You'll also want to complete Krex prequests and go on Krex runs. I rarely see anyone selling Krex rings, but you might have to resort to that if friends won't take you. But I think the HS mule workaround I mentioned above would work, exchanging your HS mule's HS not for Zhelms but for Krex rings. Krex rings range from 1 to 8 int, and 3 int is max without the godly system coming into play. I'd settle for a 3 int ring. I noticed that you don't have a shoe. Buy a 7 int clean Blue Jewelry Shoe. They're quite cheap, perhaps 40m or so? With a Zhelm, Krex ring, and pendant (even your Silver Deputy Star), you'll meet the luk requirement. Keep your face accessory. 6 int is good. The first costly gear upgrade you'll want to do is get your HTP. 800m is standard for all HTPs and egg. Once you loot an 8 int HTP, I'd egg. This gets you a 23 int pendant, which is 18 int more than your Silver Deputy Star. Since you're a mage, surviving HT isn't too hard for you. The party should tell you to spam MG when Head B dispels are coming up. You might have to be wary of Dark Wyverns, but generally, they shouldn't be a problem. You'll want to keep an eye on forums daily and look for a 180 TMA or higher Elemental Wand 7. Godly Elemental Wand 7s are rare and expensive. Expect to pay 1b to 1.5b for one. But this gets you 21 more magic. The rest of your gear are easier upgrades to get. Look for 25 TMA or higher earrings (Fallen Leaf Earrings or Crystal Leaf Earrings, although the former are more common), 30 TMA or higher Maple Shields (not Maple Magician Shields), 20 TMA or higher gloves (Red Markers or Yellow Workgloves or Brown Workgloves, from most to least common), 20 TMA or higher Purple Gaia Cape, and 25 TMA or higher overall (White Doros (M) or Bathrobe for Men (M)). Lastly, I saw that you don't have an eye accessory. Look for a White Raccoon Mask with 12 int or so. At this point, you'll have 1225 magic and 1245 magic with Meditation. This gives you a 40 magic deficit to 100% 1 hit petris that you'll make up by leveling in 8 levels. So you'll be 100% 1 hitting petris at level 158. I hope this helps! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! <3
