Hi folks, I am aware that in order to gain access to the giant centipede boss, you need to complete the Shanghai prequest. I did quest specialist on one of my characters, which resulted in me finishing the entire shanghai questline. As a result, when I enter the quest room on that character, the giant centipede does not respawn. Is there any way to still access this boss somehow to collect the card? @Becca Tagging Becca because she wrote the monster book guide!
You went to the room with the black sheep, talked to the guy who sends you to that farm area where you have to pick the right hay bale to progress (much like Uta's farm in Hennesys)? Once you get to the end, you go to a new map and fight the Giant Centipede there. Only that one drops cards. If the centipede is not there, someone else has killed it. Note: I found this out when doing the quest. You NEED to finish the quest in order to get cards. The centipedes that drop the item you need for the quest don't drop cards.
hi, I also have a problem on hunting Giant Centipede card. I went in the map through Officer Chung(npc in map full of black sheep) and hunted centipedes. It only dropped the quest item and no nx no card . Is it just because of my bad luck? Edit: I just read the reply above again and found i should finish the quest first Problem solved
Yep! Good luck Edit: The good part about giant centipede is once people are finished with their card, they don't try to hunt him for NX. It is too annoying to go through a jump quest every time.
